Monthly Rentals in Huntington

Great place. I thought I was renting a bedroom and bath, but it was actually included a living room and dry bar with fridge and coffeemaker. Far exceeded my expectations. Bed was comfortable. Location was quiet. Absolutely nothing to complain about. I am in the Alexandria area frequently to visit my grandchildren and there are occasions when I am not able to stay at their house. This will my go to location in the future.

I had a great 2.5 month stay at the Common Room. I was working locally for the period and wanted easy metro access, quick things to drive to, and a clean space with laundry. The unit is situated in the basement of a duplex. Neighbors were all friendly and unobtrusive. There is a little noise you can hear from upstairs, but nothing that ever bugged me. Neighborhood felt very safe- mostly homes with apartments several blocks down the hill and up a staircase at the end of the street. Was not expecting so many big trees/nature right at the place. Metro is a ~3 min walk up the stairs about 50’ from the driveway and then about 100’ of sidewalk from there. Unit met all of my needs. Comfortable bed, kitchen with everything needed, good laundry machines, parking, friendly owners. Very happy I skipped a 3 month unfurnished lease, a long-term hotel, etc and stayed here. Was slightly further out than I first planned, but ended up being so glad I chose to stay here.

Phillip’s place was cosy and had use of kitchen and fridge which was handy. The bus stops a minute away to connect to metro which was great for tourists not wanting to spend dollars to stay in city. A quiet location and felt like a nice neighbourhood.
