Smoking friendly holiday rentals in Icaria

It was a very, very nice stay. After getting use to being a tourist in the middle of a small, quiet village everyday way of life, it was a great stay! The most beautiful sunrises, great food just down the steps, live traditional music in the taverna just below once a week, 2 mins to cave thermals, 2 mins to Thermal bath tubs, great walks and hike to outstanding beach. Alkystis was super friendly and helpful. The apartment was a nice feeling, clean, had every appliance you could want. The balcony was so great!

Cleopatra is a very warm and caring host. She immediately offered me a better apartment with a sea view that was currently free. The apartment is quietly located, in the immediate vicinity there are good restaurants. Ormos is a small, idyllic place. There are beautiful secluded beaches in the area. A rental car makes sense to get to know the beauty of the island. I felt very comfortable with Cleopatra and can highly recommend the place.

We really enjoyed our stay. Cosy and peaceful place with beautiful surrounding. Artemis' parents live downstairs in a separated house and we were very warmly welcomed by them and even offered a delicious cactus fruit juice! Location was great, with beautiful beaches, restaurants and supermarkets fairly close by. I wouldn't say easy to reach by foot but possible. I reccommend renting a car/motorbike. It was very clean and well equipped, only the wifi was not working properly. Overall a very nice place to stay!

Ikaria is an amazing place. We are very happy since we have found exactly what we were searching for: beautiful beaches, great landscapes, good food, quiet and fresh home to stay. Jenny has been extremely helpful in finding lovely places to visit and enjoy good food. Her apartment was lovely and we hope to come back very soon. Thank you Jenny and Ikaria!

This house is very clean, tidy, and the most decent and beautiful place of the island, our host is very attentive and solution-oriented, I would like to thank you for everything. The only negative aspect is that the bar below makes loud music until 3:00 am until 3:00 at night, it is not too much trouble for the back rooms, but it is uncomfortable for the front room, if this problem is solved, it will be the most perfect house on the island. There were 2 cicada bugs to make noise and I solved this problem and the rest was left to Ms. Evodokia… Note: There is everything in the Kampo area, there is no need to look for another place on the island...

We enjoyed our stay on Ikaria and, more particularly in Vangelis’s stone house, very much. It was cosy and homely and very well equipped. We also enjoyed our walks or short drives to nearby two village centres (Agios Dimitrios and Christos Rachon) with a good choice of coffee shops and restaurants. If we ever come to Ikaria again, we will definitely try to book the same accommodation.

Therma is a beautiful place to vacation. I have relatives in Agios and it is walkable to get there. The hot springs are enjoyable and if you didn’t want to leave this beautiful quaint little town you didn’t have to. This AB&B is perfect to stay in with its little kitchen quarters for cooking and a fridge to store your cold food and drinks. Let’s not forget the balcony to overlook this beautiful town. I highly recommend this AB&B! Restaurants, markets, bakeries and souvenirs are all at your fingertips!

My husband and I stayed at Orestis's place for 5 days. It was a perfect location for beautiful hikes and walks, on both footpaths and the roads. The house itself is filled with history and with love, and it provided us with a wonderful home base. The table outside was lovely for all of our meals and restful times. The kitchen is very well equipped and we were able to cook our meals. The village square is just a few steps away, the mini mart had what we needed, and the bakery is wonderful. Orestis responded to each of our questions promptly, and gave us helpful information and resources. Though in a quiet, mountainous setting, the village of Evdilos is just a few kilometers away. I highly recommend this traditional stone house for a wonderful Ikarian experience. Orestis is an attentive and kind host!

Felt at home right from the very beginning. Maria was kind enough to welcome us at the port late at night and walk us to the apartment, where she explained everything we needed to know. Her kindness is actually the first thing that comes to mind - so I can highly recommend a stay at her apartment!

My friend and I had a great stay in Eleni’s place. We appreciated the dog-friendliness. Eleni was very communicative and guided us to the house via messages in the middle of the night after our arrival by boat in Evdilos. It was easy to heat up the apartment using the airconditioning, as the nights were still cold mid April. We would definitely stay at Eleni’s if we come back to Ikaria again.

We had a lovely stay with a lot of friendly cats.

Amazing place with very nice view to stay in evdilos!

I stayed at Ioanna’s place for 7 nights with my partner and we loved it. The kitchen is fully equipped and we cooked many times. The peaceful balcony and the amazing view was a plus, and we loved having our morning coffee and lunch there. It really felt like home. Ms Ioanna helped us with everything we needed during our stay which we appreciated a lot. We were sad to leave but definitely want to come back there. The flat itself is a bit uphill but very close to the city center and walkable distance. We walked daily and stayed fit!

This apartment is such a gem! Great location to the main square and is stocked with everything you need for your stay. Manolis was very helpful and great at communicating along the way. The internet connection can be a bit complicated if there are multiple people using it at the same time. As a digital nomad with strict deadlines, this was a bit of an adventure. Manolis did offer alternative options to help with these frustrations which was very appreciated.

We had a great time in Kampos. The apartment is very clean, in a good location and has all the necessary amenities. Communication with Nikolaos is easy.

We would like to thank Angeliki and her husband for the warmhearted welcome and care during our stay. They are truely wonderful people. I am not exaggerating. The apartment is located 8 a minutes walk away down to the harbour / downtown (9 minutes up, if you are over 60) From the upper floor you have the view of town and mediterranean you always dreamed of. The apartment is well equipped , with anything 5 people will need for a two week vacationA number of nice (sandy) beaches are within 20 minutes driving distance. The island is much greener (more vegetated, even with forest) then most greek islands. With it’s history and historical places (from 2500 BC to 1100 AC and more recent history‘s house of Mikos Theodorakis), mountains, lake and forest it lends itself to discovery tours, hiking and swimming. Very good greek cooking with interesting varieties in an abundance of restaurants is a given. We will be back.

Really satisfied with our stay at Helenia's place. Great location, relaxing place and lots to do around. Helenia is an awesome host, always responsive and helpful. We would go back for sure.

Easy walk into town. Once you understand where house is located make front of museum your landmark to navigate. Be mindful this is a one way street. Spacious two bedrooms upstairs, full kitchen for groceries. Will recommend to family and friends.

Great accommodation and in a spotless location. Christ is one of the best villages to live in Ikaria. Very quiet and private. Mrs. Fotini is one of the most hospitable hosts I've ever met. We'd prefer it again with my eyes closed.

What a wonderful place. Great location right at the beach in a beautiful village. They had everything one would need. Very friendly and accessible owners. Absolutely loved the balcony at nights especially! Well equipment will modern kitchen, bath, air conditioning etc. We really loved it! We would definately come back! 10/10!
