Family-friendly holiday rentals in Idaho Springs

This is a lovely, spacious home. It has 4 bedrooms, each with their own bathrooms. There’s a heated ski room in the garage. We loved cooking in the kitchen and never felt on top of each other. After a full day of skiing we enjoyed a soak in the hot tub. Then a family dinner around the large table. Afterwards, sat on the couches with the gas fireplace on, sharing favorite memories with each other. This was a great way to celebrate family birthdays!

We stayed here for a couple of nights before starting our roadtrip adventure. It’s a very quaint little cottage and tucked away. There is a nice peaceful little zen garden outback! Mary responds very quickly and the instructions to finding the place were easy and precise! We had such a wonderful time. Thanks so much!

Stay was great, plenty of space and privacy The view from the yard is amazing especially at night! Felt like I could see all of Denver from the backyard! Hammock was great, fire pit was a nice thing to have while sitting outside at night enjoying the view, definitely recommend for anyone who is going to the Red Rocks or just looking for a quiet place close to Denver with an amazing view!

My dog and I really enjoyed our stay at Scott’s! We were doing a long road trip so it was nice to have a comfortable and clean place to stay during our trip to recharge.

I can not say enough about this place it was exactly what our family was looking for. If you are looking to get out of the city and relax then this is the place for you. We spent every evening in the hot tub with the most beautiful views. Sitting on the porch one morning a fox came down the driveway, a moose came right to the water 15 ft in front of me, an elk was walking through the trees to the right of me and a momma duck had her babies out on the lake in front of me all within an hour. God really showed off that day. The home was so spacious there was plenty of room for all 6 of us. It was very clean and well cared for. There are plenty of hiking trails within a few miles if that’s your thing. We also spent a day in the hot tub, played board games and cooked on the grill, so if you don’t want to go anywhere there is plenty to do right at the cabin! 10 out of 10 would recommend Chris and Catherine’s place!

Our vacation to Colorado was fantastic! And staying here in Grand Lake at Bryon and Tash's cabin made it even better! The place was clean, quiet and had everything we needed. Couple blocks from downtown. We would definitely visit again.

Tina’s place was the perfect home for a Mountain family vacation! The home was dog friendly so our furry family was able to join us ! We were near stunning hiking trails, one literally 7 minutes from us! The kitchen was perfect and my sons prepared scrumptious family dinners! The downstairs family room had roomy comfortable couches and we had movie night ! The beds were soft and comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. It was the perfect house that created timeless memories for our family! Thank you Tina. We would highly recommend her home to anyone looking for a peaceful mountain getaway!

One of the highlights was soaking in the hot tub on a crisp, cold night—an absolute dream! The deck provided stunning mountain views, and the entire setting was quiet and serene, perfect for relaxation. What truly set this stay apart was Amber, the perfect host. Her impeccable communication, grace, empathy, and attention to detail made everything seamless. She provided helpful and informative tips throughout our stay, ensuring we had the best experience possible. A quick tip for winter travelers: 4-wheel drive is a must during the snowy months, but it’s well worth it for this incredible getaway. We can’t wait to return! Highly recommend!

I was in town to visit a long time friend who happened to live within walking distance. Diane & John’s place was perfect for my visit. Everything was very clean and tidy. The space was well appointed and organized. The bed was comfortable and the entire space relaxing. I also appreciated the fact that I was not expected to do a lot of cleanup.

My sister stayed here and loved it! She enjoyed how peaceful it was and she even got to see moose and elk and other wildlife. It was the highlight of her stay!

My family and I had a wonderful time staying here! Quaint and spacious cabin, and a very quiet and peaceful surrounding area. Just far enough away in the mountains but still a close drive to beautiful downtown Evergreen. Thank you for having us!

We stayed almost 2 weeks, had everything we needed, variety of stores nearby, lots of parks, elk came through property and deer, easy drive into Denver, would definitely stay here again. Thanks to our hosts for taking good care of this cabin.

We had a fantastic time staying at glorious cabin. My wife and I and both of our dogs stayed there for nearly two weeks. Both her and her husband were always very responsive to my messages when I asked for something, and we felt like we were part of their family. Their location is very peaceful and I found it very easy to get my work done as a remote worker. The internet was strong , which allowed me to take my meetings and get my work done. I felt safe and I felt my belongings were secure. We took full advantage of the outside kitchen.That's where we made nearly all of our meals. They have 2 dogs that were very friendly to us.And they were a joy to see every morning. Every morning the ducks would walk the property and that was fun to watch. Beautiful views. It was close to a farm stand as well which we drove too nearly every day to get some snacks. It was also less than 15 minutes from grocery stores and other things that I needed.

Stephanie’s home was perfect. Although it was deeply tucked in the mountains she gave perfectly clear written instructions on how to find it which were very accurate. Although there was no snow we still took her recommendation and rented a 4 wheel drive vehicle to get to the house and it was definitely the right decision. The location is even better in person with views that are so worth it. Very peaceful and quiet area and a really nice home which was very comfortable and clean. We had a great stay here and will definitely consider her home again the next time we are in CO

Loved our stay at the chalet. It rained most of our visit, but we were warm and cozy inside with the wood stove. The rain made it feel misty and magical. The house was fully stocked with cooking supplies, firewood, toiletries, etc. There is a coffee maker, French Press, and coffee filters. On our last morning, we woke up to the sun streaming through the windows and a gorgeous VIEW of the snow-covered Indian Peaks. I was worried about using the ladder to the loft, but I got the hang of it quickly. I also enjoyed reading the guest book and learning how meaningful the house has been to so many people. Thanks for the lovely stay!

We had a beautiful stay at Melany’s. Everything was as described. We had several adults and a baby. Great for kids with toys, games, a baby-safe deck, and pool access! Rooms besides the primary are a little tight, but not a problem for us as we were out and about all day. We loved sitting on the deck and looking at the river! Wish the neighborhood was more walkable to downtown, but the scenery made up for it!

I was traveling solo so this place felt HUGE! I loved the private patio. It was close to the hiking I was doing in the area. I would definitely stay again and I’d love to bring my boys next time! I didn’t use the pool or hot tub but the community area is beautiful and very close to this unit.

My husband and I took a quick getaway to Breck after spending time in Denver. This is my third time staying in Breck. Out of all of the Airbnbs that I’ve stayed at in Breck, this has definitely been my favorite. The Airbnb was spacious, clean and had great amenities. My husband and I loved making use of the hot tub, pool, shuttle and pool table. It was off season so a bonus was that it was so quiet. Anyways, we miss it already. Definitely stay with Scott if you are looking for a Breck Airbnb.

Perfectly situated to Frisco area and surrounding towns. Easy under a mile walk to main strip of Frisco with shops, restaurants, outdoor beer garden and music, marina and Mountain View. My boyfriend and I walked home after night out on the town and felt very safe. Tara was very flexible and responsive - perfect for our stay - would stay again!

This place was perfectly centralized to many Summit County activities. The condo was spacious, comfortable, well stocked, and very clean. The beds were comfy too. We really enjoyed our time here.

Just checked out of the condo. Amazing stay. Easy check in and amazing AC. Everything isn’t too far away, and very convenient spot for traffic. Would definitely stay here again!
