Welcome to The Alpine Aframe, a charming cabin nestled at over 10,000 feet in the Rockies. For eight months, this cabin was our passion project. We thoughtfully remodeled the space to create a serene and elevated atmosphere. The cabin is a 5 min walk to the St. Mary's Glacier trailhead and a 25 min drive to downtown Idaho Springs. Green Cabin (spotty WiFi and cell signal)

This cabin is the perfect spot to rest after a day in the mountains! The main floor has a living room and kitchen. The upstairs loft is outfitted with a queen bed and a queen size pull-out sofa. The basement features a twin-sized bunk bed! Our beautiful mountain location limits our access to internet, so the cell signal, WiFi and cable can be very slow or non-existent at times. We recommend planning to be off-the-grid in case this happens during your stay! We do not allow parties.

This cozy cabin is close to family-friendly activities. You’ll love your stay because of the the views, high ceilings, privacy and the location. The cabin is great for couples, solo adventurers, and families (with kids) There are TVs with cable in the bedrooms and living room, a hot tub to soak in and enjoy how close the stars shine. PLEASE NOTE: This Vacation home's elevation is 10800 feet. The weather is unpredictable- From September to May 4 wheel drive is required!

If you’re looking for fancy, this isn’t the cabin for you. It is VERY clean, but not updated/renovated. No pets allowed.
