The atmosphere is created by a cozy fireplace in the cottage and what is more wonderful than brewing your morning coffee unhurriedly with a traditional wood stove. Spacious beach cottage with accommodation downstairs for three people. In addition, the upstairs is available in the summer, with accommodation for nine people. A lakeside sauna with a good beach and a large jetty. Additional space for two in the beach shed. A rowboat, paddleboard, gas grill and brick barbecue are available on the beach. Laavu is 2km away by hiking trails, or by car the remaining distance is 400m by hiking trails. The lean-to has a sausage grill and a stove for making coffee. (bring water). In winter, a good trail network.

Jokela School Summer Cottage

Traditional Finnish summer cottage with sauna building, separate sleeping cabin, outdoor toilet and barbecue canopy. The place is located along the Matkusjoki river. Further up in the courtyard is the old Jokela school (built in 1928), which we renovated. If you enjoy a genuine summer cottage with minimal extra comforts, then this could be your summer destination. We especially enjoy the gentle steam of the wood-fired sauna and a refreshing dip in the relaxing tranquility of the river. A warm welcome to our summer place!

Welcome to enjoy the wonderful lake scenery. You have the entire apartment and a spacious glazed balcony facing the lake. At the house's dock, you will find a summer cafe, Cafe Sillan Alla. There are also guest boat berths at the dock, so you can get there by boat. The convenience store is only 100 m away. The area has good exercise terrain and sports fields. The ski trail starts next to the house. Your car has a reserved place in the garage. A bus stop can also be found in the immediate vicinity of the house.

Järven läheisyydestä löytyy pieni rantasauna jonka voi lämmittää kohtuulliseen lisähintaan.
