Right in front of the apartment is a bus stop, from which two lines run in 10 minutes to the center of Kuopio. From the apartment, you can easily access the Puijonlaakso hiking trails, which continue to Puijo. Next to it is also the beautiful Sammakkolampi and a cozy park area with a beach.

The main house has a bedroom, kitchen, living room, bathroom, shower and wood-heated sauna downstairs. A fireplace. Upstairs there is another sleeping area with a double bed and spaces separated by a curtain under both slopes, e.g. for children, with 120 cm wide mattresses. There is also an old fashioned tub. By the upper cabin there is a composter latrine. Neighbors are at eyesight but down in the beach you have your own privacy.
