This is a private rental inn surrounded by the rich nature of the Iizuna Highlands. It was built in 1998, the year of the Nagano Olympics, at an altitude of 1200 m. The traditional wooden building, finished without a single nail, was completed by a renowned architect and a master carpenter. It is a calm space where you can feel the warmth of the craftsmanship. The strong yet delicate wooden frame, natural light through the shoji, and the shadows created by Isamu Noguchi's AKARI lighting create a beautiful fusion of tradition and modernity. The interior walls are made of Tosa plaster by artisans. You can have a comfortable stay regardless of the season, surrounded by the scent of cedar and cypress. The size is 195 ㎡. There are 4 Japanese-style rooms with 8 tatami mats that can accommodate up to 10 people. This place is perfect for those who want to experience the beauty and tranquility of Japan. Iizuna Kogen, where you can enjoy the seasonal nature. Beautiful green summer, colorful autumn leaves, and winter with snow-covered scenery - you can feel a different charm every time you visit. A highland summer resort with cool, refreshing breezes in the summer. Please spend a quiet and comfortable time relaxing in nature. Winter sports are also available at nearby ski resorts in winter. Rent an entire log house on the Iizuna Highlands. Amane Guest House

This is a quiet villa area at an altitude of about 1000 meters, Iizuna Kogen. Newly built in 2022, simple cabin full of wood aromas. With a 10 minute walk, you'll encounter so many beautiful scenery. Please take a look at Mt. Iino from Oza Hoshi Pond. About 3 minutes on foot from the nearest bus stop (Iizuna Higashi Ward)! It is about a 7-minute walk from the next nearest bus stop (Iizuna Kogen). You can also come by public transport. Walking distance to forest stations, Iizuna soba, ramen, burgers, and other restaurants. About a 25-minute drive from Nagano Station and Zenkoji.Togakushi Shrine is about a 15-minute drive away. It is also a great base for golf skiing to Togakushi, Kurohime, and Myoko. Please also use it for climbing mountains to Togakushi Kodo, Amato-mi Trail, and Mt. Iinjo. If you want to go to the hot springs, it's about a 15-minute drive to the Tenbukan on Lake Reisenji. The public bath is about a 5-minute drive to Asoviva. There is a discount on the bathing fee. We will lend you a projector and screen for free. Play games or screenings on large screens. It is located about a 10-minute drive from Shinano-machi IC on the Joshinetsu Expressway, with excellent access by car. As a base for sightseeing in all seasons! 15-20 minutes by car to Togakushi, Iinuma, Kurohime, Madarao, and Myoko. In an area with famous powder snow ski resorts, you can easily enjoy winter sports in the winter. Well maintained! The private sauna is equipped with a Finnish wood-burning sauna stove. You can also enjoy a self-lowering bath. Enjoy a luxurious sauna time and forest bathing in a water bath with a magnificent view of Mt. Kurohime. You can enjoy the comfort of warmth and refreshment at the same time. It has 4 bedrooms and can accommodate up to 9 people. Earthboat is a hotel-like room with a fluffy bed, and you can enjoy the authentic outdoors, so you can feel free to camp novice. Minimal cooking utensils and coffee maker in the room and a BBQ grill outside. When it gets chilly, warm up slowly in a private wood-burning sauna with all buildings. Spending time with stunning views of the Togakushi Mountains creates a special time. Close to Togakushi Shrine, you can easily play in nature such as climbing, skiing, and snowboarding, and the proximity of the ski resort is one of the attractions. It's a great location Earthboat with a view of the beautiful mountain range. Please enjoy the scenery that changes depending on the sunrise, sunset, and time, from the barbecue, sauna breaks, and, of course, the large windows of the room. This is a stylish inn that is a renovated old house in the heart of Mt. Iizuna. There are a few houses nearby, but it is a world away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Outside the window is a beautiful world of the four seasons. This rental is limited to one group per day. Spend time with your family and friends. It is also close to sightseeing spots such as Togakushi Shrine, and is a great base for sightseeing. Forest Village, located in Daiza Hosshoike, about 10 minutes by car, has a zipline and field athletics. There is also a horse riding club nearby, where you can enjoy horse riding. Adjacent to the inn is the owner-operated farm "Mamayu Farm Togakushi", where you can experience harvesting. Making jam with rhubarb, stuffing your mouth with blueberries, roasting corn and sweet potatoes over a campfire, and so on, there is no shortage of fun memories. A child who hated tomatoes ate tomatoes he picked himself and fell in love with them. I started the farm to contribute to such food education. Anyway, it's up to you how you play.

The home is accessible from Tokyo and other major cities via the Shinkansen bullet train or Joshin-etsu Expressway.

Modern Ski Chalet, Togakushi, walk to restaurants

Renovated to be open, modern and spacious our chalet is only 20 minutes drive from Nagano City, Togakushi and Iizuna ski resorts. It is less than 5 minutes walk (or 1 min drive) to some cafes and restaurants and the new Nagano Forest Village. There, you can buy local produce, craft beers & wine, and walk around the beautiful area. We recommend driving to explore more around the highlands and snow tires (or chains) are a must have during winter. We are 1080m above sea level, its cool in summer!
