Located 20 minutes from Mackinaw City and adjacent to trail number 7 with amazing scenery and many opportunities to eat and drink on and off the trail. Cook in the well-appointed kitchen. Relax and entertain in the large living room with 50" TV and 2 large sofas. Rest well in one of the 2 private bedrooms or open loft with two twin beds. The single bathroom has a shower and garden tub on the main level. Close to Mackinaw City/ Mullet Lake.

Pa's Retreat a Cozy Cottage for Fishing Families

Amazing fisherman's paradise. Burt lake access across the road & boat launch is just 1/2 mile away. Lots of parking. Lots of space inside to get ready for a day on the lake and for prepping family meals. This place is ideal for humble fishing families looking for a warm bed, hot shower, good meal, and a great time in the woods! We are off the beaten path, 15 minutes to town. Unfortunately, there is NO TV or WiFi, and cell service can be spotty. Perfect place to turn off electronics & get away!

The cabin is also located directly across from the North Western State Trail, which is a hiking and biking trail in the summer and snowmobile trail in the winter.

Home away from home. Loved the place and enjoyed every minute we spent here. The kitchen, bathroom, living room, bedroom all were in great shape. The back porch leading to the deck by the lake was the best. The hosts were very professional. They had this place ready for check in 3 hrs earlier than usual. Amazing!

I’ve stayed at this and Tanaia’s other rental on the same lot. Very clean and well-accommodated spaces, we especially appreciate a kitchen with all the utensils and the gas grill. The location is great and central to downtown Cheboygan, especially great for us working out of the marina.
