Recently converted cottage with panoramic views
A detached stone cottage in the heart of the north Pennines. Stunning views. With fantastic footpaths, cycle routes straight from the door for those with plenty of energy as it is hilly. Great base for exploring the area. With pubs and coop 5 minute drive or 25 minute walk. Recently renovated to a high standard but still feels characterful and cosy. Underfloor heating, induction hob and super insulated. 2 well behaved dogs only are allowed for a small fee. Sorry no other pets allowed.

Water House is a beautiful , spacious, private detached property which nestles in the remote, very peaceful hamlet of Sparty Lea within the North Pennines AONB. With stunning panoramic views across the valley shadowed by heather moorland. Private sunny garden and parking for 2 cars. Perfectly situated for hill walking, pony trekking, cycling, bird watching or stargazing in the truly dark skies, or simply unwinding in the garden room and watching the weather and landscape constantly changing!

Warm and cosy converted stone barns, two buildings, only a few steps apart, great for extended families or couples who want more privacy. The main cottage has two ensuite bedrooms, a snug with wood burner and a large fully fitted kitchen. The annexe has twin beds, bathroom, kitchenette and a living room with a stunning view across the dale! Great for walking, hiking and solitude. Please note: this is a stone barn conversion on a moor, sadly it is not suitable if you have mobility issues.

There are plenty of footpaths and cycle trails meandering through the beautiful Durham Dales and North Pennines. Within easy reach of the Lake District and Northumberland (Hadrians Wall). Pets are welcome, maximum of 2 pets.
