Beautiful chalet in the countryside with Eiger view

The accommodation itself is so beautiful, and it's clean and pleasant. I was worried because there was no air conditioner, but it was cool. It was comfortable because there were all the kitchen utensils, iron, washing machine, etc.! And the view of the accommodation is really...the best. It was really high up, so it was really hard to drag my luggage up, but my family all came up and saw the view, and I was really satisfied that I got a good accommodation. It's a view that's good enough to heal at the accommodation without going sightseeing. After getting off at Grindelwald Station, you can take bus 122 to and from the accommodation, but you have to keep an eye on the time so you won't have a hard time going up! However, I recommend walking down when you go down. It's so beautiful when you go down. I had a good stay!

What a view! This was such a peaceful home to stay in. It was perfect for our family. We cooked a few dinners at the house and had a few dinners. Our host recommended renting a car as local bus doesn’t always run when you need it. I would recommend renting a car for this location as uber isn’t always available and it’s a hike up the mountain with luggage. We would definitely stay here again.

We had such a lovely time at Chalet Emmely. It was extremely clean and smartly renovated inside, with spectacular views of Grindelwald and the Eiger from the windows. There is a parking space included for a rental car, which was really convenient for us. The place is also located on a side road so it is very quiet and peaceful. The host Anita is so kind, attentive, and energetic. She took the time to meet us when we checked in, explained everything to us, and showed us around the property. We would highly recommend Chalet Emmely and we hope to be back one day soon!

The i-turtle view from the terrace was really nice! When you sit on a terrace chair and look at the mountains, you may think that the view is unfortunate because there is a tree in front of you, but I think it was nice that Grindelwald Station and Coop Mart were close, and that the owner of the house resides above. You can cook and eat, and the bed was fluffy and nice. There were two toilets, but there was one normal bathroom and two places where you could do business. City tax, tourist tax and security deposit must be prepared in cash when you enter. If you use the deposit cleanly, you will return it on the morning of your departure. It's a great place to spend a relaxing day in the house, even though it's a good place to hang out. There is no microwave, but there is a fondue machine, an oven, and an induction stove, so you can cook. If you have any questions, please send us a message and we will kindly reply:)
