Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Island of Ortigia

Emilia was very kind and easy to communicate with. She was on top of all necessary information and offered a spacious and clean apartment for us to enjoy Ortigia. It is on a main street that is very loud for most of the night, which I wish I knew, as it made it hard to sleep.

The apartment was great! Exactly as advertised. It is easily accessible from the train station via taxi (10 minutes) or by walking (20minutes). There is a cab stand right outside by the Theatre of Apollo. The apartment is huge, and while you can hear all of the music and lively crowd in the evening from the living room, the bedrooms are pretty quiet. Earplugs are provided in case you need them as well, but we didn't. It is worth noting that one bedroom and bathroom are up a very narrow spiral staircase. Unless you have a small overnight bag, it is a bit awkward. I just left my suitcase (25 inch) at the bottom and grabbed what I needed to bring up or down each day. It didn't bother me to do this as it was right by the laundry room but it is worth mentioning for those that like to unpack or are in and out of their suitcase constantly. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were excellent. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again as it was well suited to our needs.

Increíble lugar, me sentí como en mi casa. El departamento es mejor que en las fotos. Hermosamente decorado y muy bien pensado para tener una estadía óptima, están en todos los detalles para que puedas utilizar todas las instalaciones sin problemas. La ubicación o mejorable, cerca de todo y en un barrio muy lindo. La comunicación con los anfitriones fue excelente. Fausta me brindó una guía local de actividades, las cuales resultaron muy útiles y también buenos lugares para comer. Sin duda volvería a elegirlos, gracias por unos hermosos dias ♥️ Lo

Right from the start Loredonna made sure we had all the information we needed and during our stay left us alone to enjoy ourselves but was always available if we need anything. Most importantly she also gave clear leaving instructions when the time came. The apartment is a very good size and smartly furnished for a stay in Ortigia. The location is ideal for a short walk to the marina to see the big yachts come or go to the market for provisions. Plenty of street side restaurants mean cooking at home really isn't necessary. Car parking in Ortigia can be a challenge but we used a privately managed underground carpark recommended by Loredonna and with an hour's notice they would have the car ready for us to take a trip. Overall highly recommended for a week in Ortigia.

Andrea made us feel so at home. Not only did he greet us upon arrival, but he also had stocked the kitchen with some speciality food items and wine. He was incredibly responsive and provided us many wonderful local recommendations. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Wir haben uns in der Wohnung von Santi vom ersten Moment an wie zu Hause gefühlt. Die Wohnung ist wunderschön und gemütlich eingerichtet...es fehlt einem an nix. Das Highlight ist das Panoramafenster und der Balkon mit Blick aufs Meer - mit Sonnenuntergang!!! Ein Traum. Und wenn klare Sicht ist, sieht man sogar den Ätna. Santi hatte super Tipps für uns bzgl. Ausflüge und Restaurants. Das zweite Highlight war der Strand "Spiaggia del Minaerto". Wir waren in der ersten Hälfte vom Juni, wo noch nicht so viel los ist. Wenn ich morgens an den Strand gegangen bin, war ich von ca. 8-10 alleine an diesem schönen Strand. Und Santi war so lieb und hat mir seinen Sonnenschirm geborgt. Also eine 12 von 10.

During our stay Lorenzo was always ready to help. We even managed to lock ourselves out of the apartment one day and although Lorenzo was far away, he came as soon as he was able and sorted the problem. He wasn’t even upset about us disrupting his day and helped with a smile on his face. He was an amazing host!!

A localização é perfeita, no coração de Ortigia. Ficamos hospedados em uma casa histórica reformada com todas as comodidades de uma casa moderna. Super recomendo

Nous avons séjourné en famille chez Antonio, l’appartement est très agréable, propre et fonctionnel. Il est parfaitement situé entre Ortigia et les sites historiques de Siracuse, la gare est également accessible à pied et permet de visiter facilement les environs. Antonio a été très réactif et nous a aidé à commander un taxi par deux fois. Nous avons également suivi ses instructions de restaurants ! Nous gardons un excellent souvenir de notre séjour à OrtigiaSuites !

Great place in perfect location for visiting Ortigia and Syracuse and surrounds. Easy check in with host and made to feel at home. Parking was easy. We parked at parcheggio Delle poste which is 3min walk away from the apartment for free. Didn't have an issue finding a park and was not hassled by locals. Able to leave the car for several days if necessary. Would stay here again.

This Airbnb was nicely decorated inside, plus it had a cozy loveseat and comfortable mattress. The kitchen had good quality pots and pans, cooktop, and microwave. Roberta was super responsive whenever I had questions. The location was excellent for exploring Ortigia.

Apartamento precioso en un palazzo decadente situado en un lugar que nos pareció mágico: el entorno del mercado de Ortigia. Puestos de verdura, fruta y el pescado más variado y más fresco que puedas imaginar. Soleado todo el día y con muchas comodidades (lavadora, secadora, plancha, cocina muy completa..) Ahora bien, quienes tienen problemas de sueño deben tener en cuenta lo siguiente: las dos habitaciones no tienen puertas; están separadas visualmente pero sólo se cierran con cortinas. Asimismo, hay que tener en cuenta que los vendedores del mercado comienzan a trabajar sobre las 6 y son sicilianos muy sicilianos y, por tanto, bastante bulliciosos. A nosotros también esto nos gustó.

Sono stata a casa di Simona per un mese a lavorare da remoto e mi sono trovata benissimo! L'appartamento è carinissimo e confortevole (il letto soprattutto!) ed è di una buona misura anche per 3 o 4 amici, aprendo il divano letto. Simona è stata squisita e si è resa molto disponibile si dall'inizio, un pregio molto comune delle persone di questa zona. Anche la posizione è veramente strategica, nel quartiere della graziella dove si trova il mercato. Sono rimasta molto soddisfatta del mio mese in quella casa e non vedo l'ora di ritornarci!

The apartment is really well laid out over two levels with really good airconditioners. I enjoyed having my breakfast on the balcony. A nice relaxing spot. Very friendly check in with Carmi. Thanks, I really enjoyed my stay

The Villa is located in a very beautiful Location. But I do have to mention the Street to get there can be tough. For us it was no problem though. The communication with Andrew was very good and he is very friendly. He was always happy to help. The Villa has everything you need, especially for cooking. We stayed hhree nights and for this the Villa was Great.

Wunderschönes Ambiente, alles sehr sauber und perfekt eingerichtet. Detail geschmackvoll niveauvoll ist diese Unterkunft, ein wahres Kleinod direkt am Meer

Sehr schöne wohnung in einem super Zustand. Wie auf den Bildern. Die zwei Schlafzimmer mit eigenem Badezimmer fanden wir super da wir als pärchen privatsfähre hatten. Gastgebering super nett und hilfsbereit. Zu verbessern: Ich würde in neue Matratzen investieren, sind viel zu weich man versinkt im Bett. Zusätzlich würde ich noch jeweils weiche schlafkissen zur Verfügung stellen, die waren steinhart. Ansonsten alles perfekt und ich kann es empfehlen.

Skorzystaliśmy z poleceń Mario dotyczących restauracji i wszystko było trafione w dziesiątkę. Mieszkanie przestronne, z tarasem, śmiało można skorzystać z niego jako z bazy wypadowej (blisko stacja kolejowa i autobusy w różne części wyspy i kilka minut spacerem do Ortigii). Dość wąska klatka schodowa i 4 piętro bez windy - należy o tym pamiętać przy rezerwowaniu - nam to nie przeszkadzało.

Elisabetta and her husband Licio were lovely! They picked us up at the bus station in their car and after showing us the apartment, walked us a little bit around the neighborhood! Elisabetta offered to help anytime if we needed it. Licio came to greet us at check out and walked with us to the bus stop so we wouldn’t make a wrong turn and miss it. Lovely!

La casa di Gabriele è un vero gioiello: bella, pulita, accogliente e luminosa. Tutto come da descrizioni in foto e anche più. Camera grande e dotata di condizionatore, doccia del bagno molto ampia, terrazzino che affaccia sulla strada interna silenziosissima. Consigliatissimo

We loved our stay at Gianna's place in Ortigia. Perfect location, spacious and clean apartment, great comms. Flexible check in time, helped us store our bags on our last day after check out. Would stay again!

Host went out of her way to help us access the apartment as it seemed to us that the narrow road was for pedestrians only. She helped us carry our luggage up the street and up the stairs. Very responsive and helpful. We arrived early and were allowed to leave our luggage while Carlotta the lovely and helpful cleaning lady finished her work. We had a bit of an issue unlocking the door, but hosts responded quickly to help us out.

Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön eingerichtet, beinhaltet alles, was man braucht (z.B. Waschmaschine) und hat eine tolle Lage. In wenigen Minuten erreicht man tolle Restaurants und Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß. Laura ist eine großartige Gastgeberin, die sehr zuvorkommend, super zu erreichen und hilfsbereit ist! Sie gibt tolle Tipps für die Gegend. Bei unserer Ankunft hat sie uns sogar einen Parkplatz reserviert. Eine tolle Unterkunft - sehr empfehlenswert! ❤️

staying here is like being a local Ortagian we were greeted at our parking space by Enrico who is Majas man on the ground who took us down the street to the apartment so much better than having to find a key lock box the apartment is superbly equipped and stylish in a typical Italian fashion large lounge with views two bedrooms both on a par ditto for the bathrooms on the third floor there is also an amazing terrace ideal for the alfresco breakfast sunbathing and pre dinner sundowners this was one of the best airbandbs we know and we would like to return
