Family-friendly holiday rentals in Isle of Wight

We had a wonderful stay at the Old Farm Shop. It was in a lovely location - you could explore lots of beaches and also walk from the doorstep in to the countryside and to the sea. It was clean and tidy and had all the things you would need for a comfortable stay. The hot tub was a great extra! Susie and Sarah were super responsive and helpful. We had a really lovely time, thank you.

We had a wonderful stay at King’s Orchard. The house was perfect for our stay, with everything we needed. The extra touches like yummy fresh bread, eggs, milk and butter enhanced the experience. Susie has thought of everything to make your stay and real home from home. Anytime I had a question Susie answers super quickly and even gave us a coffee machine when I enquired if there was one! The views, peaceful surroundings, coastal walks and cycle routes are all right on your doorstep. Highly recommend a visit and we will definitely be back !

We booked this home for one night only to celebrate my husband's birthday with family. The home was big, well stocked, comfy and wonderful to enjoy a family get-together in. Caroline, and her husband Phil, were amazing hosts, and couldn't have done more to make our stay any better than it was. Great rooms, hot tub, fab gardens, easy parking and plenty of room and light.

It was an amazing family get-together with children. All the rooms were great, and the kitchen was well-equipped with all necessary items. The beds were a good size, and we had nothing to complain about.

We really enjoyed our stay, the access to the sister hotel’s facilities including indoor and outdoor pools was fabulous and it was very well situated between the beach and the high street right next to the beautiful chine. Loved the Isle with its beautiful botanical gardens, beaches and dinosaur fossils to explore!

Great location. Easy to walk into Ventnor. The house easily accommodated 10 of us: 3 generations. Steve was quick to respond to any queries.

Fabulous host, gave us the most wonderful recommendations. Helped with ferry tickets and buses to arrive. Beautiful location, so peaceful and calm and relaxing waking up to the sound of nature. Will definitely be visiting again!

We had a lovely week long stay in Emma’s house (myself, husband, 2 daughters and in laws). The house was spotlessly clean and spacious. My daughters loved their own bedroom with bunkbeds and equipment in the shed. Emma was quick to respond to a query I had upon arrival. The house has a beautiful open plan layout and bifold doors which we really made good use of. My only niggle was the lack of standing shower in the main bathroom, as we ended up all using the en suite for showers. But this isn’t necessarily something that isn’t shown in the pictures! But just be aware of this if there are a lot of adults who prefer to shower.

Lovely little cottage with a secure garden. The village has a fantastic little shop for everything you need and a very friendly village pub with great food.

A lovely cottage, with all the amenities and comfy beds in a great location. We really enjoyed our 5 night stay and, in particular, the view of the sea, watching the boats sail by, the rabbits and pheasants on the lawn, the woodland walk/costal walks, quirky shops at the fort, being on Yarmouth's doorstep, lighting a real fire at night and sleeping peacfully after a day exploring the beautiful Isle of Wight. A big thank you to our hosts for arranging discounted ferry tickets and a lovely welcome pack. We may be back for more of the same!

A lovely bright spacious apartment in a quiet road but not too far from Ventnor town centre. Very homely and welcoming, plenty of information about local amenities and well stocked with books and games if the weather kept you indoors. Eileen responded very quickly and gave clear instruction regarding check in, parking and the number of stairs up to the apartment! Although it's top floor location meant that it does have sea views.

Great house, lovely garden, the kitchen was equipped.

This is the perfect place for us as it’s quiet and peaceful with lovely views of the Tennyson Downs to the side. The annex is clean, spacious and has everything you need, including two private outside areas where our dogs could wander free on their own. The location is perfect as it’s within easy reach of Totland, Colwell Bay, Freshwater and Freshwater Bay by car but also on foot. There are shops, takeaways, chemists, leisure facilities and restaurants nearby. Yarmouth is also only a short drive or lovely walk away along the coast and then through the woods by Fort Victoria. There are so many lovely walks that you’re spoilt for choice. Andi checked in on us a couple of times and the hosts were responsive both before and during our stay. We feel lucky to have found this perfect spot and will definitely be returning; this is our second visit and we would highly recommend it.

Great location for a family break. Entertainment passes included. Kids will love the robots delivering food in the restaurant. Didnt try out the pool this time but looked great. Loved how close we were to the beach beautiful day and night, with stunning sunsets. Also enjoyed a walk around the nature reserve. Great base for getting out on our bikes. We absolutely love the new forest and this was a great base for a short stay. We'd happily stay for longer.

The views from Seascape are wonderful and added greatly to our holiday. From sunny breakfast on the deck to cosy evenings watching the sun set we found everything we needed and we felt at home straight away. The lodge was immaculate and Judith dealt quickly with the only issue we had when the oven had a fault, so our holiday was not impacted greatly. It's a 15 minute walk into Swanage with an uphill return or free 2 hrs parking next to the Co op if you spend £10 there. Altogether a perfect place to enjoy Swanage and explore the Isle of Purbeck.

Such a find - we absolutely loved this airbnb! Firstly the design was amazing, looks like beach huts and yet the inside was so spacious and filled with light that it was like a hidden gem. Amazing amenities - pool, tennis court and beautiful walks on the doorstep. The area was so lovely and quiet and I could immediately feel myself relaxing the moment we arrived. The property has everything that you could possibly need, a little home away from home and I loved all the little design touches - you could really tell that so much care had been taken to make the space welcoming. Everything was super clean and Helen was a lovely host, always responsive and friendly! I absolutely loved the digital guidebook which was so useful for our stay, especially finding the best pubs and restaurants in the area. We hope to be back soon!

My parents had an amazing one-month stay at Laura’s Airbnb! The apartment was exactly as described. Clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The location was perfect, close to local shops, restaurants, and public transportation, which made exploring the area so easy. Laura was incredibly welcoming, quick to respond to any questions. My family and I have just returned from a 4 night stay at The Oaks and we all wished we could have stayed longer. The house is well equipped, clean and tidy. There was plenty of room for 7 adults and 1 infant. The bedrooms were comfortable with fresh linen. I particularly booked this accommodation for the outside pool and this didn't disappoint. A perfect size pool for us and we enjoyed sitting around the garden and pool area. Beautiful Sobo beach is walking distance from the house and there are many good places to eat and drink nearby. We enjoyed a birthday celebration lunch at The Captains club restaurant which we would highly recommend, great food and attentive staff. A big thank you to Maggie And Peter for a great airbnb property.

We stayed here for just over a week with our three children -everything was clean and tidy when we arrived and it was a nice place to use as a base for going to the beach/Hengistbury Head. Lovely holiday!

We absolutely loved our stay. The caravan was gorgeous, clean, and in a great location to watch the sea and squirrels. We did not want to leave, a perfect cozy home by the sea.
