Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Ithaca

The place was quite and only 10 minutes from the center of Argostoli. Gerasimos was discreet and helpful if and only you wanted.

The Exoghi village is the most remote and secluded but for that also the most magical. The atmosphere is unique and staying there for a few days is a way to live the island in a different way. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a unique and authentic experience. Beautiful view.

Anna is clearly an experienced traveller and/or host because the villa is very well equipped in the kitchen and outdoors. Towels are provided and fresh bedding is provided mid week. The pool is a nice size and the property is clean and private. The area is very hilly but easily accessible to the nearest beach, restaurants and bakeries. 15/20 minutes from the airport and a 5 minute walk to the nearest supermarket (a large Lidl is 10/15 minutes away). Would recommend.

We had a great time here! This is Konstantinos’ family house, so felt much more authentic than most of the industrial tourism apartments that you get on Airbnb these days. We felt very comfortable in the apartment and the view was spectacular. Konstantinos is destined to be a superhost for sure - he went to great lengths to give us recommendations, e.g. letting us know about a local festival taking place nearby. We ended up following his tips for most of our excursions. Plus whenever we had a question he got back to us in a matter of minutes. On top of that he was always friendly, positive and accommodating.

We have had the most amazing holiday staying at Villa Christina. The villa is exactly as shown in the photos, clean, had everything we needed and a great location with beautiful surroundings. Christina was very responsive, helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend Villa Christina. We are already talking about booking again for next year, we can’t wait to come back!

I had a wonderful stay in Maria's house on Kefalonia island. The house is very spacious, well equipped and located nearby to the airport. I would like to thank Maria for her great hospitality and and lots of useful tips :)

We had a wonderful stay at George’s lovely traditional village house. The outdoor space is exceptional, with several terraces, a wild hillside area and complete privacy even though we were in the village and walking distance from two tavernas. The house is detached and spacious with beautiful traditional furniture, it was a real experience to stay there. Nice beaches and Vathy a short drive away but great to retreat to this peaceful spot. George was very helpful and always quick to respond.

Very nice place, basically in Argostoli but it felt like the countryside - quiet and peaceful. The house is clean and comfortable with a lovely deck and view. The kitchen was also well stocked, and the pool of the nearby resort is free for use and beautiful. Communication was also very easy and well organized. Overall highly recommended!

Absolutely perfect location, peaceful and relaxing place to stay with lots of lovely places to visit nearby. Apartment had everything we needed including very comfortable beds and great air con! Regular cleans and new towels was a bonus. We cannot wait to return!

What a wonderful host! The house is very spacious, extremely clean and the host is the most accommodating. We had a great stay! It’s only a couple of streets away from the beach and everything is walkable! The house got cleaned every 4 days - amazing service! The bedsheets were white and ironed! Highly recommend!

The place was beautiful, cozy, and clean. Good kitchen amenities. Large terrace with a beautiful view of the sea. Great location, good accessibility to the whole island. The locals were very friendly and kind. They also brought us a welcome cake and were interested if everything was fine. I recommend

Lovely place to stay. Lots of places to visit in the area.

This is the second time we’ve stayed in the Chloe villa and it didn’t disappoint! It’s such a beautiful location with an amazing sea view to watch the sunrise. The pool is directly below and the sea over the road which is perfect for early morning swims. Especially due to the changing temperatures in the water where salt meets fresh and there are warm spots and cold spots. It’s a short pebble beach so water shoes (or flippers in my daughter’s case) make getting in and out of the water much easier. Steve was a brilliant host! Nothing was too much trouble. Really responsive and because we had a late flight extended our checkout time until 6pm which meant we could enjoy a full last day. The apartment is equipped with everything you need, including some starter items for your arrival, such as biscuits, jam, milk, butter… and wine! There is a coffee machine, toasty maker & everything else you may need (incl. washing machine and dishwasher) A 20 min coast walk straight to Sami!

This place is a lovely paradise. The beach is quiet, the water is wonderful. If you’re looking to be out of the city and in a quiet area this is perfect for you.

I would recommend this air bnb to anyone visiting Kefalonia. It was just as described and even nicer in person. The location is close to restaurants and supermarkets. The host was incredible, I am not sure super host does him justice. He was extremely responsive, attentive and his guide to the island was so helpful. The location is right across from the turtle viewpoint and we saw turtles everyday. It was extremely clean, well kept and had the essential and more. The laundry machine was a huge bonus. Parking can be a bit difficult during the day as the street does get busy but we were able to find parking in walking distance.

Villa 4 has a stunning location with a superb sea view. The amenities of the 5star hotel are available , inclusive of a free shuttle service into Skala. We have been staying at villas in Europe for nearly 30 years and this one is up there with the best. One small point....since this was our first visit to Kefalonia , it would have beneficial to have a brochure on site outlining places to see , restaurants to visit , local amenities etc. Overall , I would thoroughly recommend this villa.

Villa Vada : what a gem! The best villa we have ever stayed in. Beautifully restored, decorated to a very high standard. Very peaceful and private with a stunning view. We had the most fabulous week and will be back!

Nektaria was great right from the start of a very last minute booking, she accommodated my family and I at a few days notice and also allowed us to check in early, the villa itself is immaculate both inside and out, the views are just amazing and take your breath away, I would rate this villa as the best I’ve ever stayed in.

A beautiful home, in a beautiful location, was paradise...the local restaurants were all so welcoming and amazing food, close to many beautiful beaches and sights, you can do nothing or explore for days on this island . Villa Alex is an outstanding villa situated in a peaceful cul-de-sac with several other villas, all very private and secluded. We stayed for just a few days at the end of September & I wished we could’ve stayed longer. We were met by Marios who is an exceptional host along with his family who were all very friendly & made us feel very welcomed. Marios has a wealth of knowledge in the local area for recommendations for beaches, bars/tavernas & shops. As described the Villa is in a great location to explore the north. Just 10 minutes to the port of Fiscardo with its many restaurants & shops. The Villa itself is amazing & the interior design is beautiful throughout. The kitchen was very well equipped & the entire villa was impressively clean. The outside pool/garden is stunning with all the pots & plants. Fab exterior furniture. BBQ & pizza oven. And amazing sunsets! Villa Alex is a very special place & I hope one day I can return & stay longer, thank you so much Marios & family :)

We had a lovely stay at this home! It’s wonderfully located at the end of a long bump track, close enough to Sivota for dinner, drinks and ice cream. Definitely need a car to get around but once you’re at the house you have a stunning infinity pool, a private path down to the sea and a hot tub. It’s quiet, calm and has a lot of character. Make sure to get a food, coffee and wine shop before you arrive with all the essentials. We’d love to come back again! Our second time in Sivota and this was a brilliant base. We were 4 adults and 4 children / babies!
