Monthly Rentals in Jamestown

Great location for a week in Sonora! Only wish was if there was access without so many stairs. This is an older structure and the design is common to Sonora. We just called it cardio and still had a great trip!

Where do I start. I'll start with.. the Schoolhouse was one of our favorite Airbnbs. It was home for six weeks and was the coziest Airbnb I've ever had the pleasure of staying in. Serene and quiet with wildlife just outside the French doors in the bedroom through which natural light filled the room. The decor was warm and inviting. The photos don't do justice to the home. We had everything needed. The kitchen was spacious with modern appliances, including a dishwasher, plenty of cooking utensils, cookware and dinnerware. It has everything you need, whether it's a long or short-term stay. Lorna was kind and helped with anything needed. She was patient when our packages were left at her home and insisted she bring them, so I didn't have to walk uphill to her home. (Thank you!) We've traveled full time for 5 years. Normally, I'm excited for the next move, but this time, I did not want to leave the Schoolhouse. Thank you for the beautiful home and care received while there.

We had a incredible stay at Jillian's cabin to finish a 3 week road trip finishing at Yosemite before driving back to San Francisco. We loved the peace & quiet, the views from the balcony and quality of the accomodation. It's one of the best Airbnbs I've ever stayed in and I would thoroughly recommend it if you like a peaceful, private environment with towns and interesting places nearby. Jillian and Richard were welcoming hosts, communicative and friendly. We enjoyed stargazing and spotting wildlife from the balcony and appreciated the eggs Jillian left us from her chickens. We felt we'd struck gold staying here for 2 nights and we're able to fully relax after a busy, full on trip.

Richard’s place is wonderful if you’re looking for a convenient and cozy Airbnb near Yosemite (took us an an hour and a half to drive to the Big Oak Flag entrance). Richard himself is super friendly and helpful - he gave us some great suggestions on what to explore in the park (like Glacier Point) and was overall really great to interact with. The place is located in Sonora, which is the perfect town closest to Yosemite (they even have a delicious Thai restaurant which is one of the few Asian spots in the area!). We loved having this comfortable place to come home to after a long day of hiking. The shower and kitchen appliances all worked well and the bed sheets were clean on arrival. Highly recommend this peaceful spot for your next Yosemite adventure!
