Gogeumjae (Koongyeomjae) was built to mean the residence of the governor of Gocheong, and it was interpreted as a space to serve visitors like a governor. Gogungjae is located in Madong, Dongang-myeon, adjacent to Bolli, at the top of the Gocheok Map. Gocheung, Yeosu, Bollgyo, Boseong, Suncheon, and Gwangyang are nearby, making it a great place to visit various places. A clean and neat guest house in Haenam, Jeollanamdo near by the famous and important temple Daeheungsa. * There's no bed. It's Korean style (sleeping on the floor).
