House holiday rentals in Jefferson County

Everything we hoped for and more! There are so many places to hang out and relax both inside and out. We had the perfect mix of togetherness for our party of 9, and the ability to spread out and enjoy smaller groups or solitude. Great location outside Louisville, with plenty to do in the area and nearby grocery options. The kitchen was great and the master bath was luxurious. We loved that each bedroom had king beds! Deb was incredibly responsive, flexible and helpful. Our young adults loved the converted garage (which we dubbed the man cave due to its TV, fridge, pool table and foosball table). All the fun activities in the basement were great. We would definitely stay here again!

The “Derby Winner” was a wonderful and fitting home for our stay. 4 bedrooms—all with king size beds—was perfect for our group of four adults. The outdoor space and amenities were exactly what we were looking for, as well. It was a very comfortable and relaxing space. Tony & Danielle are amazing hosts and we’re always responsive to our needs and requests. Would absolutely recommend this home for anyone looking for a nice stay!

Peaceful, private home big enough to host my entire family. Dustin is very responsive, had the home fully equipped and is very accommodating. I highly recommend !

The place was very quaint & clean. We loved the small town feel & the restaurants were really good! The beds were comfortable & kitchen had all the stuff you needed for a great stay! We really enjoyed ourselves & look forward to staying again when we’re back in town.

Perfect family getaway. It was nice that each of our adult children could have their own room and none of them shared a wall with another. (We did not use the 6th room that connects and is over the garage). Plenty of areas for socializing separately. And it was so nice to have enough plates, bowls, pots, pans, bakeware, utensils, etc that everyone who can stay in the house can cook and eat more than once before needing to do dishes!!! (This includes bath and pool towels). It was within 15 minutes of a Kroger and a Walmart for anything you may need. It was not quite as remote as it seemed to us in the pics and there were cats on the property that wanted attention. But neither of those would stop us from staying again. We really enjoyed the pool!

This home looked new, very clean and open. The extras, games, snacks, coffee were great. we could walk to Hanover College which was why we were there. Road noise mentioned in the listing was so minimal, we really never noticed. This home is beautiful and very comfortable. Will absolutely go back when we visit grandaughter in college!

When I was growing up in Madison, I always wondered what it would be like to live above one of the Main Street stores. The Magnolia on Main finally gave me that experience. Over the years we have stayed in many inns and B and Bs near Madison, but this is our new favorite! It’s beautiful, spacious, spotless, and well equipped. Everything we might want to eat or do is within walking distance. We can’t wait to go back!

Absolutely loved our stay at this Airbnb! It was the perfect spot for a girls weekend getaway! The place was clean, cute, and incredibly cozy. The whole place was thoughtfully decorated with charming little touches that made it feel like home (but better). Everything was spotless when we arrived, and you could tell the hosts really care about the space. The beds were super comfortable, and the living area was perfect for late-night chats, movies, and snacks. The kitchen had everything we needed for making breakfast together, and we even spent a night outside on the patio, which was just as inviting as the inside. If you’re looking for a relaxing, picture-perfect place to unwind with friends, this is it!

Beautiful, clean house. Very comfortable, peaceful surroundings. Snacks when we arrived. We didn’t have time to enjoy eggs and pancakes in the morning - but I appreciate the option. I would stay there again if my travels take me close.

This was a sister trip for 4 of us. It was clean and we had room for each to have some privacy. We had a great stay and it was nice and relaxing to come back to after a long day out exploring Clifty Park, shopping, doing tours and more.

This was our second stay at the Cozy Couch while in town visiting family. We enjoyed our stay. The home is so beautiful and clean and spacious. We love being able to travel with our dog. And the location allows us to walk everywhere, which we really enjoy. David is super responsive, even when tied up with his own holiday festivities, which we really appreciated. We can't wait to say again.

Pamela's Airbnb is absolutely amazing!! From the minute we entered the property, this felt like a home to us, not a rental property. The property is at the end of a safe quaint quiet street, with quiet neighbors. This home is an extremely short distance from Clifty State Park and EagleHaven golf course. It is within walking distance to the Ohio River, restaurants, shops and food. It is also within a short walking distance to the Heritage Trail and another trail (of which we did not have time to use) across the street from the home's front door. The property description and pictures are accurately noted in the listing. The owners have the property very tastefully decorated with many of their personal belongings and the furnishings are impressive. Pamela has a very welcoming mannerism and is professional and timely in all means of communication. We appreciated being able to check in early. If you are looking for a wonderful place to stay..do NOT hesitate on this gem!!

Angela was a superb host. She went above and beyond. Everything at the home was as described. We rented a couple of days, to celebrate our anniversary. This was the perfect place for us, only 10 minutes from downtown Madison. The bed was so comfortable and the hot tub was very relaxing. The place was decorated perfect. Actually everything was beyond perfect. It was our favorite Airbnb. Highly recommend for a nice couples weekend. We will be back

We loved having such a cool, fun place to stay while we visited Madison and Clifty Falls. Lisa’s place had absolutely everything we needed to make our trip seamless. We were able to walk from the house to the downtown area and along the river and enjoy the charming beauty of this town. Lisa is a very communicative host and really goes out of her way to make you feel right at home. Love that this place was pet friendly and had a fenced in yard for our two dogs. Definitely would come back again!

We enjoyed our stay in this cozy house! Close enough to downtown Madison to walk a few blocks down and back! There’s a pizza place across the street that is amazing, a bakery kitty corner and even an indoor children’s play cafe just a short walk away! The spacious bedroom allowed enough room for us to set up a pack n play with ample room to walk around. The hosts are attentive and helpful. This location and home were perfect for our small family of 4 while visiting family in the area. We would definitely consider this home again in the future!

The home was spacious and very well kept. It was decorated well and felt homey from the moment we walked in. We love the closeness to downtown because we like to walk everywhere in Madison. Our host was very responsive and friendly. There was a lovely snack basket and some custom mugs for us to keep. It is those small touches that really make guests feel welcome. We can’t wait to visit again!

Angela’s place was great! Walking distance to downtown Madison, she was more than willing to provide great recommendations for us. The deck was wonderful to sit on during a nice evening as well! We will definitely be back.

Beautiful place! My spouse and I stayed here with our 2 pups for 4 nights and it felt like a home away from home. Very cozy, and it was so clean when we showed up. The king bed was SO comfy, I wanted to take it with us when we left. I slept incredible. She left great instructions, and checking in was easy. When we visit back, we only hope this place will be available to book again!!

The little pink house was an incredible place to stay. The cleanest Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at. Location was incredible to downtown and the river. Ashton and Addison went above and beyond when I asked for their help on a birthday surprise upon arrival. Great host and great spot. If I come back to Madison this is where I’ll be staying.

This cottage is charming and you feel at home the minute you cross the threshold. It's tastefully decorated and updated without losing the historic charm. We loved the location which is off the main drag but easily walkable to the downtown shops. The back deck was a quiet place to enjoy breakfast and the perfect weather we were blessed with. Everything was clean, fresh, and spotless. We will definitely stay again when we're in the area! Loved it!

Perfect house and location for my dear friend and I to meet up with our tween daughters for a fun two days exploring Madison. Great location, everything walkable, cute outdoor area and cozy, comfortable surroundings. Very cute house, would definitely recommend
