Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Johnston County

Our children could not wait to return. We previously stayed 2 years ago and knew where to stay when we wanted to return to Raleigh for vacation again. We had a great experience and the home offered plenty of space for our family.

5 Stars – A Truly Wonderful Stay! Elizabeth’s home was everything we hoped for and more. From the moment we arrived, it felt welcoming, clean, and thoughtfully prepared. The space was beautifully decorated, with every detail carefully considered—from cozy linens to a well-equipped kitchen. It was clear that Elizabeth genuinely cares about her guests’ comfort. The neighborhood was peaceful and safe, with easy access to local shops, restaurants, and attractions. Communication was smooth and prompt throughout our stay; Elizabeth was always available to answer any questions and went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, home-away-from-home experience. Thank you, Elizabeth, for your hospitality!

One of the best Airbnbs we've ever stayed at! We travel quite a bit and this is a place I would book again in a heartbeat. A charming home with a beautiful yard in a gorgeous, peaceful neighborhood. The beds, bedding and pillows were all so comfortable! Everything felt like it was nice hotel quality. The kitchen and bathrooms were extremely clean and well stocked. Our host, Kaylaa, was absolutely 5 star. She was in touch frequently and her directions regarding check-in, the rules of the house and check-out were very clear. She even left us some tea and bottled water which was such a treat after traveling. If you're in the Raleigh area, I highly recommend you book this place!

Was in town with my partner to visit & support a friend who lives close by looking after aging parents & needed a break & some loving support. Staying at Ashley’s creekside Sanctuary was just the ticket. Hot tub nestled under the tree canopy next to the creek was delightful. Home is well cared for & not your typical rental. Lovely neighborhood with mature trees & wide streets. Porch swings just the ticket to unwind or to slip out to answer calls. Bed was comfortable. Great kitchen … we cooked a few meals for our friend & they have a good amount of the necessities to make it easy. Great kitchen table & view out the panoramic window to the backyard & your own enchanted forest. We saw multiple red cardinals, hummingbirds & more while relaxing in the hot tub. They had Hulu & more already loaded to use so was helpful. Overall a great find, just what we were looking for, & we will be back for sure to see & support our friend & Ashley’s Creekside Sanctuary is just the spot. I recommend 🙌

Everything was just as listed. Very clean! It’s very close to the interstate but there were sound machines in each bedrooms. I would have liked darker blinds and or curtains. The bedrooms were very bright in the morning. All in all a nice place to stay.

Kristi's place was beautiful, spacious and comfortable. The rooftop deck was fantastic with a gorgeous view of downtown, a place to grill and enjoy the fire pit. The Home was within walking distance to restaurants and shops. Our group had a wonderful stay, perfect place for gathering or to just enjoy quiet time, Would stay here again.

This was the 3rd time we have rented this house. Our father lives near by and our family has stayed here while visiting him. This time it was to celebrate Dad's 100th birthday! Went to visit family and stayed at this beautiful home! 100% recomendable! very clean and smelled great. love how minimal but necessary items were placed. Host was very nice and quick on responding messages left a goody basket wich was so cute! love this place!

Place was darling and super clean. So clean in fact that I didn't even feel comfortable walking on the carpet because I didn't want to mess it up. Host took extra effort to think of so many thoughtful cute details. It was beyond a pleasure staying there. I may or may not have felt like I was sleeping on a cloud.. Super cute area/neighborhand close to pretty much anything /everything that you may need. Would totally stay there again and may.

Great space in a great location! The balcony was nice and I appreciated the views from the apartment. The check-in instructions were lengthy and a bit overwhelming so be prepared. Great stay! I would recommend and definitely stay again!

This is a great rental in walking distance to downtown and also close to greenways for running/walking cycling. Communication was great and the hosts had plenty of extra touches. Loved the WV charger situation—charged my model Y as quickly as my home charger. The bedroom with the desk has a bed that seems unlevel—perhaps a broken bedframe? The bigger bedroom bed was quite comfortable.

Excellent Airbnb. The condo was in great shape and the building is amazing. The working space on the nine floor with the pool was great. They also have some space on the 20th but I didn't need use it. Excelent parking. There seem to be endless restaurants and bars to walk to from this location. our first time in Raleigh and there is a lot going on in the neighborhood.

It is a cool little basement apartment. You can hear some walking around up stairs occasionally. Recommend ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. About a 20-25 minute walk to the convention center. Would stay again.

We had an amazing stay at this apartment in downtown Raleigh! The location couldn’t have been better—right in the heart of the city with easy access to fantastic restaurants, bars, and nightlife. The apartment itself was spotless, beautifully organized, and equipped with top-notch amenities that made our stay incredibly comfortable. On top of that, the host was outstanding—very friendly, super responsive, and helpful throughout our entire visit. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a convenient and enjoyable stay in Raleigh
