My mother and I had a fantastic stay! The house was very clean and in good condition. The view was spectacular, much better than expected from images. Would highly recommend to stay here. Would love to come back one day.

Christine’s place is very well located and we enjoyed walking to all of the sites in Bergen. The apartment is clean, nicely laid out and has everything you need. The beds were very comfortable! We highly recommend!

Definitely one of my most beautiful rented homes on Airbnb. The house is decorated with care, feet in the water, calm, kindness of Torstein and Ida. We are the opposite of the anonymous key boxes that are multiplying everywhere. I would recommend it 100%

We felt comfortable in the very stylishly furnished apartment, it was quiet and cozy, located directly on the fjord. Excursions to Bergen are flexible and practical, as the bus stop is a 5-minute walk away. Communication with Arve and Lydia was straightforward, they were always easy to reach and very helpful! After exploring cities, this is exactly what we needed. The rustic old cottage exudes warmth and history, but includes the right modern amenities. Our primary goal for a peaceful place overlooking a fjord was fully met and we wish we could stay longer. Although that has turned into a mantra throughout Norway!

A mega large garden overlooking the fjord and a jetty in the sea. In addition, there is also a terrace with a jacuzzi. A fairy tale so beautiful! We were also allowed to borrow the boat for free. Great! Old-fashioned inside, but still wonderful house with air conditioning and fireplace with good chairs. Thank you, we will never forget this beautiful place!

Beautifully updated and comfortable. It was conveniently located near Odda and super close to Trolltunga. The hosts gave great advice on local restaurants and parking for Trolltunga. They were also friendly and helpful.

We had a wonderful stay. The view is phenomenal and the location is excellent. We took a cab initially, getting situated with suitcases and groceries. After that we thoroughly enjoyed the walk to town. The apartment is in a perfect spot for hiking or enjoying all that downtown Bergen has to offer. The apartment was clean, comfortable and well stocked. I would very much recommend it to others.

The apartment was very clean and tidy. Everything that is needed was amply present. The bed was fine. The view from the apartment and from the garden is very beautiful. The weather was not great, but fortunately there are many walks and hikes to do in the area, even in bad weather. Bjorn and his wife were very quick with their responses and very friendly and helpful when needed. I can recommend the stay here to everyone!

We loved staying in Torstein’s Bergen apartment. The location was perfect, right downtown and so close to everything we wanted to see, while still being quiet and peaceful at night. For anyone traveling with a car, Torstein helped us find a convenient parking lot about 2 blocks away which was super easy and about $30 USD per day. Torstein was helpful and responsive, and the apartment was spotless. Would highly recommend!

Excellent location, beautiful place, and nearby the lake where you can walk around. Good value and feels like a premium home. Also responded quickly on all my questions, great host.

Marita and Tomas are very nice, warm people. Marita greeted us upon arrival and showed us around and explained things (e.g., how to access the kayaks) in a very clear and unhurried way. They both did a fantastic job communicating with us before our arrival, and provided lots of helpful advice while there (e.g., recommendation of a wonderful restaurant in Bergen). Although Tomas and Marita live on the floor above the Airbnb flat, we never felt “crowded” by them. In fact, at my request, Tomas was able to respond immediately to come down to help us figure out the TV…and he was incredibly good natured about it. Location was terrific, too: close to Bergen and all it offers, including the focal museums, as well as minutes from an excellent University of Bergen arboretum & botanical garden. Highly recommend this place, as well as Tomas & Marita as people!

We had a wonderful 3-nights stay at Helga’s wonderful apartment. Very easy to find and check in, amazing views from the apartment and rooftop terrace on 15th floor where we started and ended up our days. A cozy, clean and well equipped apartment where we found everything what we needed and much more! Comfortable beds and nice shower! A nice walk to the city over the pedestrian bridge. Helga was a great host, proactive and pleasant in her communication including all local tips which was very helpful.

Mathilde was a wonderful host. She gave us great restaurant recommendations. The apartment was extremely clean and bright. The apartment is centrally located. It is close to great restaurants, coffee shops, etc. We absolutely loved our stay! We hope to be back.
