Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Jyväskylä

The place was lovely and top of the line. Thanks to Annina for hosting and I can warmly recommend to those who want a nice idyllic stay with good public access 🙂

The photos do not do justice to this beautiful house and its surroundings. We (family of 4) were there for five nights and truly enjoyed every bit of it. It was lovely! It has the most peaceful lake views and the location is very quiet and serene; it is a 10-minute drive from the main road. The house was very clean and kitchen was well stocked. We had all the amenities we needed, and made sure to enjoy the wood sauna every day. Helena and her daughter, Maria, were very responsive and patient with our many questions. We cannot thank them enough for sharing their lovely house with us.

Absolutely wonderful modern cottage with all the comforts, neatly cleaned. Additional points for stylish decor! Calming and beautiful environment, very relaxing and comfortable place. The owners patiently answered several questions almost immediately. There is only one toilet in the main house, which can be a bit challenging for a larger group, but during the summer, using the additional toilet in the sauna building was effortless. All in all, a wonderful place and experience, thank you very much!

Lovely, bright house in a quiet location, very comfortable to vacation with dogs. The kitchen has all the cooking utensils, but we couldn't find a cheese planer. A large glazed deck adds space if needed, and it's sure to be a lovely extra room in the summer. The sauna had good steam and there was plenty of space too. The house was a little dirty and messy in places, it didn't hurt, but of course the cleanliness would be a plus. In the big yard, the dogs have nice space to play, and you can get to the woods right from the yard. For the dogs, it was also inside that there were plenty of toys in the yard and a water cup in the kitchen and a bed under the stairs.

We had a child's birthday party and it was a very nice space. The beds were good for sleeping. Well equipped.

Such a cozy cabin and a beautiful view on both sides! Saw the northern lights after sauna and it was really the cherry on top. ♥️ the cabin was perfect!

The place matched the description. Everything went well and the house was just right for 5-6 people. The host also communicated commendably. I'm sure we'll go again sometime. Negative things are hard to find, maybe it could be a little cooler in the bedrooms, although the windows could be opened, which helped a little.

The apartment was charming and suitable for a longer stay. Beautiful leafy area close to the lakefront, coffee shop and lighthouse restaurant. Old-time vibe. Everything went smoothly. Susanna was very helpful and friendly.

The perfect apartment for our group's needs (4 people). There's room to spend time together, but there's also room to take a moment of privacy. Everything went really well and the instructions were so good that you didn't have to ask about anything when you got there. The communication was very kind. Very big recommendations from all of us for this place!

Nice home apartment, had everything you need, even more. A very pleasant surprise was waiting for us, with waffles, mandarins and bananas ready for us on the table. The bed could be a little wider, but the pillows and mattress were very comfortable. Have a great stay.

It was an amazing summer house, with a seperate sauna and a special bbq cabin. It was very beautiful and peaceful there. The lake is perfect, since it takes very long to get deeper, which is also perfect if you stay here with your kids. Note that there is no shower with hot water, but it was not a problem for us during our stay, since we could just swim in the lake. The communication with the host was fast and very friendly. Only point of improvement that I could think of, are better mattresses, especially for the two beds upstairs.

We stayed at Juhani`s AirBnB in the winter during our ski trip to Himos Ski resort. A group of 5 friends fitted perfectly in this lovely and cozy cottage. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating - despite of our really late arrival, Juhani greeted us warmly at the house and gave us an exhaustive overview of the amenities with brief instructions. The house was supplied very well, we had everything we needed to prepare meals and spend cozy evening by the fireplace and in the sauna. There were not any neighbours nearby to disturb us. The isolation and quietness at this finnish cottage gave us an unique and unforgettable experience. I would even go so far to call it the best AirBnB stay I have had so far.

The stunning villa powerhouse was in a great location between the rapids. Irmeli was a friendly host and helped with everything. Great place for a bachelor party!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this beautiful villa in Finland! The location was breathtaking, surrounded by stunning nature and serene lakes. We also enjoyed using the rowboat to paddle around the lake, taking in the beautiful scenery. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful, providing great tips about local attractions and activities. Whether it was relaxing in the sauna or enjoying the view from the terrace, every moment was a delight. I highly recommend this villa to anyone looking to experience the beauty of Finland in comfort and style. I can’t wait to return!
