This quiet TINY (144sq ft) gem, privately tucked away and yet very accessible, Cabin Unwind, has a seasonal porch, queen sized bed, a few 'kitchen appliances' and GREAT wifi. The HOUSE SHARED bathroom has it's own side entrance, across from the Cabin. There is a SUMMER SHARED porta-potty and proper shower, right close by, as well. WINTER GUESTS, please note...DON'T come down the driveway without PROPER WINTER tires! Leave your car at the turnaround and I'll gladly shuttle you and your gear.

Guests will have access to pristine, all sports Bear Lake, ORV trails, and not to mention, the best tourist sites are all within about 1.5 hours travel! We had a great time on our honeymoon at spillway! They were super accommodating and the location was walking distance to downtown Bellaire. We made extra use of the sauna/cold plunge. The lodges are right by torch lake and within driving distance to Lake Michigan. We are already planning future stays here!

Great place to stay for a country getaway! My friends and I wanted to hike at the sleeping bear sand dunes and this place was a great distance to the park and Traverse City. The stars at night were so so gorgeous! We loved the homey cozy vibes of the house! There’s also an amazing butterfly zoo about 15 minutes away from this house which was so cool! Absolutely loved our experience here so much, I want to already plan another trip back!

Katie and Travis were excellent hosts. They afforded us a flexible check in and check out and provided very helpful instructions! Their property was extremely peaceful and the Airbnb was very cozy and beautiful! The sauna was a very nice surprise as well! We visited during the winter months to ski at Boyne Mountain so it was a bit chillier in the space - recommend packing warm socks and pajamas! The electric fireplace made the space even cozier! Travis was extremely helpful when our car got stuck in the snow and snowblowed so we could make it home safely!! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a cute and cozy couple’s getaway or even a small family staycation! Katie had the place stocked with wonderful games and toys for kiddos as well! Thank you both again!

The A-Frame at Finch Creek - Secluded w/ Hot Tub

Had a great stay with our two kids (3.5 and 6 yrs old). They were able to share the second downstairs bedroom and had their own bathroom. The place was just like the pictures, very beautiful. Had tons of fun exploring the area, our favorite places were the Grass River Natural area down the street, downtown Bellaire for the brewery and candy store and ice cream store, King Orchard further north was great for the kids, and finally we spent two days at Antrim Beach to play in the sand and look for rocks. Cooked a lot in the kitchen and made smores on the firepit a few times. The only negative is that the house is near a road so although it is very quiet and peaceful, there are occasional cars going by which you can't see but only hear.

I’m not sure I’m the correct rater for this review. Todd was a peach, there are some things left to be desired if you’re vacationing, though I’m sure those wouldn’t matter then. I 3 month’d it here and it was nice. I had a few issues, he was easily accessible. No cleaning fee is nice. The large paragraph welcome text was necessary and appreciated. I think it’s a great place for a weekend or short trip; extended stay wise also good if you can adapt. (Travel nurses) Don’t know the daily rate but off season monthly rate is definitely worth it. You can bring your own appliances, there is a reasonable amount of storage. Came prestocked. Again I’m not the best reviewer of a vacation property. 10/10 points for the pride welcome mat.
