Du bist umgeben von einem grossen Garten mit lauschigen Plätzen zum Entspannen und Geniessen! Der Ort ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt zum Wandern und Biken. Das Haus selbst ist beinahe strahlenfrei, es gibt kein Mobilnetz und kein WLAN. Aber es gibt einen Internetanschluss über Kabel für Laptops und Handys.

Cities such as Zurich, St. Gallen & Lucerne can be reached in about 1 hour by car. The great chocolate factories inspires young and old. You are very welcome!

Small Paradise above the Walensee

A beautiful old countryside home, lovely furnished in a paradise-like setting. The house is perfect for people who are looking to get a break from the big, loud world or would like to discover the beautiful Swiss mountains by foot. If you are coming by public transport you will need to hike one hour on a very beautiful hiking path (Weesen - Quinten). If you decide to come by car you will only need to hike 15min from the parking lot to the house. We highly recommend to wear good hiking shoes.

Beautiful 2-room apartment in the middle of the village of Kaltbrunn. Take part in village life, shopping across the street or the beautiful church opposite, which forms the center of the village. Breakfast at Café Gabriel and eat in various restaurants in and around the village, all within walking distance. Get to know the Linth area, in a rubber boat on the Linth and the Obersee, hiking in the surrounding mountains or a city stroll in Rapperswil on Lake Zurich. By car 40 min to Zurich.

We rent a very nice, newly furnished and cozy 30 m² apartment with separate bedroom. In the open living room with kitchen and dining area, there is a large sofa bed. The apartment has a separate apartment entrance and is on the first floor (no steps). The free parking is right next to the apartment. The apartment is located in the middle of the village and is easy to find. Just three minutes to the bus stop, 40 minutes to Zurich. We, the host family, live on the upper floor.

The guest room and bathroom as well as the living room (where there is a small fridge, a Nespresso coffee maker and a kettle) are located in the attic with beautiful views of Lake Walen and the Churfirsten. OTHER IMPORTANT NOTES Our cat also lives in the attic, which shares the bathroom and the living room. It has a parking in front of the house and a seating area with a fireplace. The cozily furnished studio (first floor) is located at 800 meters above sea level in a quiet residential area. From the sunny seating area you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Alpstein (Säntis). A grill bowl is available there. The bus or Appenzellerbahn train can be reached within a 10-minute walk. Within 10 km there are various leisure facilities (mini golf, swimming pools, hiking, skiing, biking).
