Beachfront holiday rentals in Kamisiana

Cannot overstate what a great experience this was, thanks to the atmosphere of the place and to Giannis's kind and attentive hosting. Beautiful accommodation on 3 floors, with indoor and outdoor spaces. We were in the heart of the lively Old Town, yet felt private and quiet at night. Ideal base from which to explore western Crete.

Perfect location, 20m to the beach, many restaurants, friendly people, parking spot bit tricky but never more than 200m. Communication perfect, very proactive. Exactly as the pictures shows.

The apartment is as it appears in the photos, the terrace is huge, very cool, comfortable for breakfast, lunch or dinner watching the sea. Costas was always available, and left us a basket of fruit, muffins and chocolates. The area is fantastic to spend a few days and get to know part of the island. It is a tourist area but very quiet and comfortable, next to the beautiful town of Chania, which is wonderful and from the apartment you can walk a beautiful one-hour walk. By car it is less than 10 minutes and by bus that stops next to the house too. Everything was very comfortable. The beach is also nice and the winged one is very beautiful.

The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming. The place was super clean and everything well maintained. Just felt right at home with an amazing view, great beds and a beautiful atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Absolutely beautiful location, 2 minute walk to the main Old Port area and tons of nice shops in the back streets.

Jeronimo is a really great host. Very, very friendly and helpful. We felt very comfortable and welcome right away. The accommodation is beautifully located above the small Soudabucht with magnificent views. Two recommended taverns are within walking distance. Jeronimo's bar is also great and not to be missed. We can highly recommend the beautiful, simple but functional accommodation.

Great Location definitely recommend it as a base to go around Crete and the backyard was lovely !

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful, well-kept, and lovingly furnished place. Everything you need is there. The host was super friendly and gave us some good recommendations for restaurants and the surrounding area. Upon arrival, the fridge was already stocked with drinks, fruit, and other items, so there was no need to go shopping on the day of our arrival. It was a perfect stay, and we would love to come back.

We had a fantastic stay here. The house is spacious, very well equipped and very flexible. The surrounding is absolutely beautiful. Even though we came at the end of season and the weather wasn't perfect anymore, we enjoyed every minute. Aleksandra and her family are very caring and supportive, true hosts!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful villa! The house is truly luxurious, in perfect condition, and tastefully designed with great attention to detail. The layout of the rooms is simply brilliant — spacious, comfortable, and perfect for relaxing and spending quality time together. The heated pool was one of our favorite features — always at the perfect temperature to cool down and unwind at any time of the day. The location couldn’t be better: just a few minutes’ walk to the beach, where you’ll find plenty of great restaurants, cafes, and shops. A very special thank you to our amazing hosts! They were incredibly warm, welcoming, and always just a message away. Every little question or request was answered within minutes — we felt truly taken care of from the very first moment. Host was so helpful. Apt was lovely we especially loved the veranda and having breakfast on it at sunrise. Very peaceful. Apartment had all the amenities you need and it’s great having a washer.

Beautiful well equipped house in a perfect location within easy walking distance of a supermarket, beach and restaurants. What makes this house absolutely exceptional is the host, Stavros. He couldn’t have been more welcoming, meeting us with some very welcoming groceries including his homemade wine and olive oil. We will absolutely be back. Thank you Stavros for making our stay so perfect.

Beautiful place in front of the beach and near Balos. Sara speaks Italian and for me it was a very precious thing! The girls who were at the restaurant were very kind. The breakfast offered is very good, both sweet and savory! I recommend it because by making it your base you can see the most beautiful beaches of Crete.

Amazing villa with amazing views of the sunset. However, listing needs updating as it is not a short walk to Falasarna beach, its an hour walk away and no paths so is not walkable at all. Other items listed as provided are not actually provided. There is no toaster (just a sandwich maker which is not a toaster), no cooking basics such as salt, pepper, oil, tea bags. No beach essentials such as an umbrella which was disappointing as this and walking distance to the beach was the main reason why we booked this villa. The listing also says breakfast is provided but it is not. It is also not self check in which was worrying when our plane was delayed and then no response to our messages when we landed and travelled to the villa not knowing if anyone would be there. Apart from this, the villa itself is beautiful, exceptionally clean and having a clean mid stay was fantastic, the host is lovely and the home made biscuits on arrival and water in the fridge were greatly received.

We loved our stay! The villa was so comfortable with a beautiful terrace overlooking the sea. Lots of great recommendations for restaurants which were only steps from the villa. The beach is also just a short walk down the hill. After long days of exploring we loved to come back a relax on the terrace. We had a rental car so we appreciated the on-site parking. Beds were very comfortable. We highly recommend!

Beautiful location and the hosts were so helpful throughout our stay

We had a very nice stay at Zoe’s Place. Maria was fantastic! Super responsive and helpful, and a lovely host. The space had a great balcony with a really nice view over the beach, and was well located next to some nice restaurants along the waterfront. We were going to cook our own meals in the kitchen but didn’t need to! The apartment is well located to explore the western side of Crete, like Balos, Elafonisi, Falassarna, Samaria Gorge and Chania.

We had the most fantastic family holiday here and can’t thank Giannis enough for being the perfect host! Her place is exactly as described and we will definitely be back! Thank you again for having us!

The house is very nice, quiet, just a few steps from a small beach with a few umbrellas already on the beach and sun loungers in the house (maybe an umbrella that you can carry around would be convenient) .Vasilis has been valuable with her advice (we followed them more or less all!), she does everything to make you feel comfortable and is ready to follow the suggestions to improve (shower box absolutely to repair and necessary a clothesline, currently the space for the laundry is very little, especially in 4) and if there is a problem it activates to solve it; gravel also to his dad, to be so patient and prompt in solving some small inconveniences of the moment🙏🏽. The kitchen is comfortable, well-stocked, clean (perhaps to add a microwave, but it is not essential). The bed and bathroom linens are clean and of a good standard... Vasilis,continue to do your best to keep this beautiful little house we left reluctantly❤,thank you again for everything.

When we arrived my partner said what have you booked. HOWEVER from that point on the accommodation was superb, hoist views amenities out of this world. We found a bar Naya bar ^ restaurant which is a 3 minute walk right of the apartment. The food and hospitality was 100%.We did eat else where but it didn't compare. Food and drinks was reasonably priced and out of this world. This location for this apartment is spot on for the town of Kissimos. (20 mins walk tops) On our trip we did the top main beaches which are apartment is sentral. If you want to be off the grid or a quiet location for your family this is the place. Our hoist accommodated to our every needs like taking sun loungers on the beach. I will definitely recommend these apartments. I had the top terrace wow waking up to sea front views was unbelievable. To sum these apartments is a hidden gem.Cleaned every couple of days.Happy memories from the UK 🇬🇧 thank you x
