It has two bedrooms, a fully-equipped modern kitchen, a wraparound balcony with uninterrupted views of Himalayan peaks, a terrace, and a little backyard where we grow vegetables. It also has a fast wi-fi connection if you want to WFH (Work From the Himalayas). There’s a caretaker and a chef on demand too. Just perfect for a laidback homestay up in the mountains.

It was my second visit to Uttarkashi, and I am glad to visit Jai’s place. Definitely recommend everyone to come here. Jai was very proactive, helpful and treated us like family members. On my next visit I will surely bring my parents along too. Excellent Value for Money. You will feel very calm and even can hear the river bhaghirathi which is very closeby from the property.

Locals as well as Harshit was always eager to help you out during the time of your stay and even helped us in exploring the hills and nearby places. Arvina home stay, hosted by Arvina stands out firstly for its host, Arvina. Without her, this place wouldn't be what it is. She is a gracious host with great local recommendations, a delightful cook and a good conversationalist. The place is really clean and well set up. It's walkable from the Chakrata market and therefore close to most everything. Getting luggage up is a little hard with the Chakrata streets and the steps. That would be my only concern. otherwise the place is amazing. I wouldn't mind visiting again.

Their exceptional hospitality, elegant rooms, and safe and serene environment were the best parts. Thank you so much for making my family trip a memorable one. I will stay at Kotli whenever I’ll be at Dhanolti, Mussoorie. It is the oasis of luxury in the heart of Dhanolti. We stayed there for 2 days 3 nights only but were impressed by its exceptional service. And yes, of course out host Ashish was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay, he was always very polite with all my queries and always gave me promt responses with anything during our stay there. I highly recommend staying at Ashish’s place. It almost feels like home! I will again visit this property for sure whenever I’ll be here.

Our stay at Dopaar by the Brook was wonderful. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the serene setting and warm hospitality. The location is a perfect blend of tranquility and natural beauty, ideal for families, friends, or solo travelers escaping city life. The room was clean and spacious, with wooden ceilings and walls adding charm. The cozy atmosphere, beautiful dining spaces, and delicious food made our stay delightful. The brook added a soothing soundtrack, and the outdoor seating areas were perfect for relaxing. Special thanks to our host Nikhil, who was incredibly responsive. He promptly arranged an affordable vehicle for us from Dehradun to Chakrata. Kudos to Niresh for picking us up, showing us around, and sharing fascinating stories about the places we visited. I highly recommend this hidden gem for a peaceful and safe retreat. A request to all tourists: Please be responsible and do not litter with plastic waste. Respect nature and the local community.
