This place is value for the money charged with beautiful surroundings as seen from terrace. The direction given in Airbnb was not precise, so suggest contact owner beforehand and get map location. Auto rickshaw walas refuse to climb the last 120 meters so had to walk it out.

I have been to a lot of Airbnbs & this was easily one of the most unusual ones. Reading the reviews I got to know there is some history associated with the place. Apparently,someone from a royal Nepal family relocated here way back in 1931 & spent the rest of his years at this place until his death in 1993. Our room didn't capture much of this history though,except for a booklet written in 1942. However,the dining room was full of stuff from the 20th century. We found a well maintained visitor book there. The place has been having visitors since over 60 years! Located in a village in Katapathar & about 400 m from Yamuna river,the property is an interesting relic of the past. It's great for someone looking to spend time away from the city. Though both of us felt that TV/free wi-fi can be provided. The caretakers were great & the food was fabulous. We had a good time at the place.

This was my 4th visit. Great place and host. This will remain my go to place in DDN.

We were there for 2 days and it was great. The place was clean and peaceful. The host was great, would definitely stay there again.

The place is soo quiet and cozy.... location of the stay was perfect for George everest hike and paragliding for us....and the helper shubam was always a call away!

The Guest house is just as mentioned in the description - serene, calm, centrally located and radiating with positive energy. I recently stayed at this beautiful mountain side resort and honestly, it was the peaceful escape I didn’t know I needed. The location is absolutely stunning surrounded by lush green mountains with the most calming views from every corner of the property. The resort has a really well-maintained pool. The rooms were cozy, clean, and comfortable. The staff was courteous and always ready to help, which made the stay even more pleasant. If you’re someone who loves nature, a little quiet, and some poolside relaxation, this place is worth every penny. Would definitely visit again ❤️

The views are spectacular—waking up to the hills each morning was a highlight. Our room was comfortable and well-appointed, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We especially enjoyed the tranquil garden and outdoor seating, where we spent our evenings sipping tea and breathing in the fresh mountain air. Location-wise, it’s perfectly positioned between Dehradun and Mussoorie, making day trips easy while still offering peaceful seclusion. This place is more than what it looks like. The surrounding of this place is worth paying for. The best part of this place is the 24/7 service and the staff. This was my third trip to Rishikesh and I would highly recommend this place to the people commuting by their own vehicles. Rooms were well maintained and clean.

Great place for all types of travelers, including solo, couple, friend groups, and families. Very intimate setting, close to nature, great for hiking or walking on forest trails. Local restaurants are good, and if need be the on-site manager also makes great food.

Our first visit to Mussoorie/Landour was made truly memorable by being based at Annfield Cottage. The room was spacious, beautifully designed & equipped and spotlessly clean, our hosts and their staff looked after our every need, advising on places to visit, helping with taxis etc. And a special mention for the food which was delicious - especially the evening meals. Highly recommended!

Had a wonderful time staying at the Indian Culture Hostel, location is great, hosts are warm, and food in the cafe is just super fresh and delicious. Very soothing vibe with good music playing. If you are planning to unwind and relax this is the place to be.
