Holiday rentals in Kare

We loved staying at Mansio in Rethymno. It was right in old town just steps from restaurants but on a quiet street. We had a rental car and they offered free parking in a local lot a short walk away. Check in was easy. There was a staffed desk so someone available to answer all questions and they were extremely friendly. The breakfast was wonderful and the seating area to eat was beautiful. The back of the building was a park always full of families and a school. We loved watching local families enjoy their town. We even got to see a concert event with area children singing. There is some noise from the park, but it did not bother us. If you are looking for absolute quiet you should look towards the edge of town instead.

I can’t recommend the apartment enough. It was the best equipped rental I have ever stayed in and the location is beyond fabulous. A few steps down to the beach, the views from the terrace, 2 mins away from a handful of great restaurants, a cafe right next door and 15 mins walk into the main town. It has everything for a relaxed stay but everything on your doorstep when you want it. The house is as the photos depict - stylish and luxurious. A stay here will not disappoint! Loved every moment of it and wonderful hosts.

Would highly recommend Marble Villa. Niki is a very good host and responds to queries very quickly. She gave us great recommendations for beaches and restaurants all of which lived up to expectations. The villa is surprisingly large for a two bedroom and has everything you’ll need for a holiday. The pool was cleaned regularly and always had a shady spot at any time of the day. It is a very quiet secluded location - nearest restaurant is a six minute drive away and both Rethymno (north coast) and the beaches of the south coast are a 25 minute drive away but for us this was ideal. You’ll need a car but this means you can access all sorts of quiet places off the beaten track. Lovely holiday, lovely villa, lovely host!

Book this! Amalen Suites (only 5 for the entire property) is in the perfect spot! Close to everything but at night quiet and extremely secure! My favorite part of my stay was the staff that ran Amalen! Thank you so much Maria, Jakob, Tolis, and Josie!!! Everyone was so so so kind and gave amazing recommendations for my stay. The breakfast served every morning was phenomenal as well!!! Oh and! My all time favorite products are used at this location (Olive Era) so I was able to buy some bottles to take home too. And because I was traveling alone they checked in with me everyday and made sure I was safe during my stay which means a lot! I truly had an amazing time at this hotel and highly highly HIGHLY RECOMMEND for couples that are traveling through Crete. The city in which Amalen is located is large and can be tough to find parking all of the time so I also did love that this was close to many restaurants, shops, IG worthy cute alleys and a 2 minute walk to the ocean. Where to begin! We were at first greeted by Georgia who is without a doubt nothing but a superhost! No ask too big or small, always around to help with anything and everything. With outstanding hospitality and attention to detail as well. Every recommendation was perfect and helping us out with a taxi for a night in the local city was very helpful indeed. 5 Stars!! The villa was immaculate. Super clean and very beautiful inside and out. Everything inside feels tasteful and perfectly thought out. Then outside all the furniture and outdoor kitchen equipment is excellent as well. To have a sea view and the view of the mountains is incredible. There is absolutely no place you would rather wake up. The only downside we could ever have was not having more time to stay! I cannot fault Georgia or this Villa in anyway shape or form. We loved every moment of our holiday here and can’t wait to come back as soon as possible. The whole booking and organising process was a breeze too!

Absolutely stunning Airbnb - the views are as pictured. Loved waking up to the sea. The rooms were cleaned and beautifully maintained by the cleaning lady. We were just two in this two bedroom so we had space to spread out but it could easily accommodate four. Loved having breakfast on the balcony with the view of the village and the ocean.

Апартамента беше страхотен на топ място в стария град! Имаше абсолютно всичко необходимо за един спокоен престой. Леглата са големи и с много удобни матраци. Помислено е за всичко необходимо. Има много хубав пясъчен плаж на пешеходно разстояние. Много заведения и ресторанти са на близо. Домакина е много отзивчив и съдейства за всичко необходимо. Благодарение на домакина успяхме да посетим местен празник, за който без домакина нямаше как да разберем. Беше ни осигурен и трансфер до съседното селище, където беше празника с местни критски танци. Изключително сме впечатлени от прекрасното и професионално отношение. Благодарим сърдечно за цялостното преживяване!!!!!
