Cottage by the lake

If you're looking for a little break from the hustle and bustle of the city to the peace of nature, this is just for you. Rent an inexpensive, modest, electrified, basic summer cottage (approx. 65 square meters) from Kangaslampi, Varkaus (the cottage is located on the south shore). Everything in the cottage is not exactly on top and in the best condition, but a basic clean cottage with everything you need. The cottage has a refrigerator, freezer, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, stove, gas grill. Basic dishes, television, radio, smoke detectors.

In this unique and peaceful cottage, it is easy to relax while looking at the beautiful lake landscape. In the middle of nature, a beautiful cottage of 55m² and a new 30m² yard building, as well as a large terrace and barbecue area. Air heat pump and fireplace available. Close to good fishing, berry picking and outdoor areas. Kuopio 35 km, Riistavesi 10 km. The tenant has access to a paddle board and rowboat, as well as Wi-Fi. If necessary, linen/towel rental 10e/person, final cleaning 80e extra. The price includes the use of the hot tub.

This oasis of relaxation is a magnificent, unique architectural ensemble at the tip of the peninsula, with room to breathe and relax. The cottage is located by the clean Suvasvesi. Next to the main cottage, there is a summer sleeping cabin with stunning panoramic lake views. Large windows bring nature indoors everywhere! A huge terrace area connects the main cottage, the sleeping quarters and the pier complex with the jacuzzis on the beach and the lake surrounds everywhere. It's good to be here :).

Between fishes – our house on the lake in Finland

Our piece of land is located on Kaita Järvi– an about 8 km long and a few hundred meter wide lake – it is a small peninsula that looks to the south. That means: sun from morning to evening (if it shines). There right on the shore you find our log cabin, with sauna, bathroom, living room with open kitchen and two small bedrooms. A few meters next to it is a studio like guesthouse, the "Aita". It is also very cosy and comfortable, but provides no own bathroom. Village Savonranta is 5 km away.

With double-bed and sofa, TV, full kitchen, bathroom, balcony and a sauna. Free car parking is included.

Grandma's cottage with sauna

A 100-year-old log cabin with amenities in the courtyard of the main house for year-round living. For guests staying several nights during the heating season, in addition to electricity, there is oven heating. Wood is ready, guidance or heating if needed. Good road connections. Outokumpu is about 10 minutes away and Joensuu is about 30 minutes away. Koli is about an hour away and Valamo Monastery is about 30 minutes away by car. In addition, there is a dog cage outside with a small hut.

Gottage is situated by Suvasvesi lake nearby Vehmersalmi village, built -83 and totally renovated -18 when a totally new sauna was built. Surrounded by pineforest for hiking, picking berries and mushrooms. Only 0,5km to the village with different services. There is electicity, washing water coming from lake and fireplace heating. There is a rowbout for fishing, terrace and dock for swimming and spending time by beautiful lake scenery. There are some neighbours nearby.

Vanhoista savusaunan hirsistä tehty autenttinen ja erähenkinen pikku pirtti (25m2) kirkasvetisen ja kalaisan järven rannalla. Ei sähköjä, kantovesi. Rinnetontti, jossa kalliota. Rannassa pieni musta hirsisauna, avolaavu, tulistelupaikka, sup-lauta ja soutuvene. Luonnon rauhassa, mutta silti vain 5 kilometrin päässä Juankosken keskustan palveluista. Neljä petipaikkaa. Kaasuliesi. Kaasulämmitin. Ulkohuussi. Kaasugrilli. Huom! Ei jääkaappia!

Aurinkosähköllä varustettu ”erämökki” on luontoa ja rauhaa etsiville. Aurinkosähköllä lataat puhelimen ja tietokoneen. Löytyy myös inventteri Pieni mökki kahdelle ihmiselle kirkasvetisen ja kalaisan Juojärven lahden pohjukassa omassa rauhassaan. Laiturilta pääsee uimaan ja ranta syvenee nopeasti. Tupakointi mökin sisätiloissa on kielletty. Juojärvessä ei ole sinilevää. Järvessä puhdas vesi uida.

The house is part of an old farmyard. The finnish-german couple welcomes its guests the year round, for only one night or for longer stays. The farm and its surroundings offer plenty of activities. The farm hosts a model railway, a farm museum and an organic beekeeping with honey sale. You may book the farm sauna for your own use. Swimming at the lake on demand.
