There are no interior walls, insulation, electricity, or plumbing yet. It's a raw, open-air experience for adventurers, which includes 2 bunk beds, a cot, and a futon couch, propane heater, a BBQ, table, battery powered lights, 2 dip nets, porta potty, picnic table with a fire pit! It’s a private getaway just minutes from the Kasilof River!

If you’re in need of fuel, supplies, food, etc. it’s about as close as you can get to the gas station, store, and cafe.

The hand hewn log cabin was built in the late 1800's by Russian settlers and is located in the historic native/Russian settlement of Ninilchik. (An idyllic village that sits on the Cook Inlet, through which the lovely winding Ninilchik River runs.) 180 mile drive from anchorage and only 35 miles from famous Homer, Alaska on the Kachemak bay. You will have total privacy but if you need anything im a 5 minute walk down the road and always reachable by phone.

Tiny house sleeps 2, with 1 bedroom & 1 bath. This nautical-themed tiny home offers magnificent views of Cook Inlet, Twin Glaciers, Mt. Redoubt, Mt. Iliamna, and Mt. Spur, (all 3 are active volcanoes). You'll see an abundance of wildlife including Moose, Eagles, Beluga whales (seasonal), an occasional Bear and more. There is Large yard, picnic table and fire-pit to share. The Wheelhouse is ten minutes from downtown Kenai and the Kenai River.
