The place looked very clean, it looked beautiful and the view was stunning. We weren’t bothered by the location regarding the distance to the local shops etc. it’s easy to rent a car and the whole place and view was worth the distance. We also prefer to stay more on the “countryside” instead of being in the middle of the “tourist chaos”. Loannis service was great! He’s very nice and easy to talk to. He also works at the Lake Kournas, where you can rent paddle boats and see small turtles. The place is absolutely stunning and the kids loved it! There’s also a restaurant right next to the apartment complex, the people who works there were really nice and the food was delicious. We highly recommend this place and would like to come back for a longer staying with extended family😊

Without doubt THE BEST place we've ever been on holiday ❤️. The location is just perfect if you're looking for an 'off grid' place. The mountain views are outstanding and only interrupted by the sound of the mountain goats bells which are wonderfully melodic!. The hosts were wonderful providing us with a homemade Moussaka for our arrival 👌delivering fresh eggs from their hens later in the week. Google Maps brings you right to the villa and a small hire car can make it just take your time on the windy bits! If you're a cat lover you're in for a treat as there are a few beautiful young cats to feed (food provided by owners). Pool fabulous accommodation perfect. We are already booking for next year! 💯 the perfect place to wind down and recharge away from everything we couldn't recommend enough! ps Nikolaos was super helpful when we needed support on getting a flat tyre replaced 👌

Just like the pictures. Super clean, including the pool. The house is really nice, we didn't want to leave. You can get charcoal for the grill down in the super market at the gas station. Would love to retur someday.

We had the best time in the villa chreal! We were 14 people and the house was perfect for us! Agapi is the friendliest host we ever met, she organized us cars for rent, gave us tipps for beaches and nice adventures and even if we had little personal problems she fixxed everything for us! Best communication! We were allowed to eat a homegrown melon and tomatoes from the garden next to the pool and in the middle of the week she came and cleaned the whole house for us…best service ever! The house was really beautiful and absolutely clean and has a lovely pool with a great view. There is nothing negative to say! Thank you so much!!

I can’t say enough good things about Amalen. I found it on Air B & B and so I expected almost no interaction. Our stay was 5 star in every way. Jacob and the rest of the staff cared for us. They were so helpful. The breakfast was amazing and each day they knew we were headed out, they packed us a to go box…even on our day of departure. We had the best time and if ever in Crete would only stay with them again.

Easily 5+ star accommodation. The property is stunning with a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail. My family and I were very comfortable here and it served as a perfect home base as we explored the surrounding area. You definitely need a car for easy accessibility. Katerina & George were exceptional hosts, very welcoming and thoughtful.

Absolutely stunning Airbnb - the views are as pictured. Loved waking up to the sea. The rooms were cleaned and beautifully maintained by the cleaning lady. We were just two in this two bedroom so we had space to spread out but it could easily accommodate four. Loved having breakfast on the balcony with the view of the village and the ocean.
