The place was conveniently located in walking distance from the port of entry for the ferries and about 5 to 10 minutes away from the airport. It was close to great restaurants and the waterfront and the main shopping areas are all within 5 to 10 minutes walk. It was easy for tours to pick us up 2 to 3 minutes walk from the place. Are a host or extremely helpful very responsive on all communications all through the process in the checkout. We would definitely consider staying here again when visiting Crete.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay here! It was walkable to the downtown area and harbour, but also quiet at night and not too busy. It was an easy ride from the airport and the location is also very close to the highway so it’s easy to head to the beach or other towns! Also good local bakeries and gyros in the area! :)

Notre séjour a été parfait. Le logement était exactement comme décrit, propre, confortable et bien équipé. L’emplacement était idéal, très calme et proche de la plage. Despina a été très accueillante et toujours disponible si on avait besoin de quelque chose. Je recommande vivement cet endroit et nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

We arrives at 10PM, Eleny and her daughter welcomed us, we did not know where we would be able to eat but Eleny had prepared a great meal for us, we felt at home immediately. The accommodation was impeccable and had many equipments. Everyday Eleny has surprised us with différent breakfasts (and she is a really good cook as well). She has great recommendations and contacts to help you with any activity you would like to try. Even when the weather gets hot the couse keeps cool we did not Even had to use the A/C once which was really appreciated. We would stay here again with out hesitation

Appartement spacieux, agréable et bien équipé. Evangelos est réactif et accueillant. La proximité de l’aéroport est très appréciable pour un départ tôt le matin.

Une vue imprenable dans un lieu très bien équipé et confortable, il ne manque rien. Un environnement entouré de montagnes et un beau jardin qu’on peut utiliser. Il y a plusieurs activités intéressantes dans la région en plus de la ville d’Heraklion qui se situe à 20 minutes seulement en auto. Les propriétaires habitent en haut mais ils sont à la fois très accueillants et très discrets. Un grand merci spécial à Katy pour sa gentillesse mais aussi pour toutes ses attentions. À notre arrivée, nous avons reçu des petits plats, etc… et avons eu l’occasion de goûter la soupe traditionnelle préparée par notre hôte à l’occasion de la fête de Pâques. The apartment is super well equipped, everything is brand new and exactly as in the pictures. We especially loved the location - close to anywhere you want to go but still in a quiet residential street. No bars or noisy tourists on that street. The hosts were super responsive and helpful. Highly recommended!

This property was perfect for us. My family thoroughly enjoyed it. The apartment is nicely situated at the beach...walk downstairs turn left and you are on the beach. Beach chairs, umbrellas and towels were provided. The beachfront is lined with solid restaurants. We rented a car and toured other tourist places such as Heraklion and pink sand beach. Check in was very easy with both Emmanouel and wife Irene helping us arrange taxi from port and airport to being very helpful with what to do in Crete. The village is self contained...if you want to stay and have a beach vacation you have everything you need - restaurants, souvenir / shopping, supermarkets (helpful with children). Also good location to venture out and sightsee!

Such a lovely stay!!!! Mareike and Georgios was extremely helpful they organised a taxi for me and picked up in the little village since my husband was coming later with our car. The place was very peaceful and private. I thought there would be a restaurant but honestly it’s a good thing on the location there isn’t one because it made it very peaceful that a restaurant was not next door. Georgios even organised a BBQ for us which was a highlight that we could just BBQ at home. They were extremely helpful and provided us with loads of local recommendations. I would come back any day!!!!!

Nikos was an out standing host - the property was second to none - really pleased I stayed - if I ever go back to Crete, I will definitely stay at this property - thanks again Nikos for being so friendly and helpful, bo5h you and your wife - by far the best Airbnb I've ever stayed at.

Tolles AirBnB, wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt! Die Wohnung ist super schön und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, es ist sehr sauber und es ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Der Whirlpool ist gerade im Frühjahr, wenn es abends noch kühl ist, ein Traum! Man kommt gut fußläufig in den Ort, wo es zwei Supermärkte, eine Bäckerei und viele Restaurants gibt. Einziges kleines Manko ist die Straße, die man hört, aber sie ist glücklicherweise nicht übermäßig befahren. Nikos wohnt nebenan und war jederzeit per Nachricht erreichbar, alles sehr freundlich und unkompliziert.

We had a super time with Stefani and Antonis. The villa is super, the pool was warm, the area quiet, and the view down to Herssonios and out right to the mountains was lovely. We chose it because it was walking distance to some shops and restaurants. The village is lovely and a short 5-10min walk from the villa. We were at the very end of the season, so many of the restaurants in the village closed, but we always found somewhere to eat. Herssonios is a longer walk away (maybe 30 mins) and has supermarkets, pharmacies, and restaurants galore, even after the season ended. We found the walk downhill to the town, and back uphill to the village fine, even with 2 kids. Herssonios itself didn’t hold much charm for us, but we found a taxi to Agios Nikolas (delightful), Heraklion’s museum (more engaging for us than the Athens archeological museum), and Rethimno (lovely old town, laneway cafes, long stretch of beach) filled enough of our days. And with a heated pool to return to, no complaints.

The pictures do not adequately capture the beauty of this place. We loved staying at Eleftherio’s home. They warmly greeted us and quickly made us feel like family. They treated us to many goodies and the house was perfectly ready for us. Modern upgrades throughout, wonderful spa like showers. The best though- The views of the mountains are breathtaking. We also loved visiting the village. The tavern gernios is not to be missed. There is a cafe, bakery, grocery and playground about a 12 minute walk away. Such a peaceful beautiful place- we did not want to leave.

This place was amazing. Stunning views, private beach, everything you need to stay for a while and relax. Exactly what we were looking for.

We had a great stay here for our first week in Crete. The property is really nicely furnished and the views are absolutely stunning, both from the large balcony and the private rooftop space. The location was excellent for us, being in a very quiet neighbourhood but within a 3 minute walk from a lovely quiet beach, 10 minute walk from a larger sandy beach, and about 10 minute walk into the main town area which had lots of nice restaurants and shops. We loved watching the sun rise and having breakfast on the outdoor seating on the balcony each day. That view is beautiful. We also used the jacuzzi on the roof top several times. A great stay and we would certainly return and stay again.

The property was amazing in a great location. Mike was an wonderful host. We received freshly made loukamades which were delicious. We will stay again.

Iannis und seine Mutter haben uns freundlichst empfangen und mit Obst und Gemüse beschenkt.Olivenöl gab es auch noch dazu. Die Lage war gut um mit dem Auto die tolle Bucht rund um die Lasithi-Gegend zu erkunden. Wir würden in jedem Fall wiederkommen.

Me and my friends had an amazing time at Dominico’s place ! The instructions to get to the Airbnb were very clear and the place was clean and ready to welcome us. Our host was always there to help or answer our questions. Definitely worth the money and would recommend to anyone !

Tres bon sejour, l’appartement est central, proche des commerces et restaurants. La terrasse est un gros plus.

Eleni was so helpful and responsive during our stay! The apartment is accurately presented and comfortable. The supermarket is nearby with everything we needed. We were six adults and managed fine. Getting luggage up two floors is a challenge, so be aware. Air conditioning worked well, laundry worked well. Linens and towels very comfortable. Kitchen is well-equipped. The whole place was very clean. Location is a short taxi ride to museums and city center. Thank you, Eleni!

Place was pristine,great bathrooms with lots of hot water. In a quiet neighborhood.Our host helped us get transportation to the ferry.Would definitely stay again!!
