Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Katsushika City

As in other reviews, it's perfect for resting after a day trip. I especially remember the bathroom even after coming back. The airport is close and it's good to go out. However, it is a little distance from the station, but this part is also a walking distance while walking around the neighborhood, so I am satisfied enough. Also, the host's feedback was quick. Overall, it was a satisfying stay. ^^

Had an amazing stay at this place! Property is in pristine condition, complete with everything you’d need from plates, towels, hair dryer, curler, hair iron, laundry supplies etc. Host was thoughtful to leave a basketful of Japanese snacks on the dining table and a well-stocked fridge for us to enjoy. About 4 minutes walk to the train station and there are nearby grocery stores. Would highly recommend this place!

We love the place especially the fully equipped kitchen, huge beds with soft linen (and lots of extra blankets) and the tatami room. It was cold (and rainy) during our visit but we had no issues as Satoki's house have several heaters. There was even a heater outside the shower door which is really good esp in winter. The place is in a quiet neighborhood with lots of food options within walking distance. It's also very close to Shibamata - home to Shibamata Taishakuten Shrine and the Taishakuten-Sando (old street with shops and food stalls... it's sooo nice!) The train station is also just 5 minutes away which is very convenient. It also has direct access to Narita Airport. Given the chance, I would choose to stay at Satoki-san's home again.

Wonderful hosts with excellent support, very responsive to our questions and proactive communications. Blue Inn is spacious, clean, and very peaceful. We enjoyed feeling like Aoto locals walking to and from the train station which is very close by. The local restaurants also provided warm and friendly service and excellent meals.

It was a wonderful stay at Kei’s place. I was intimidated at first because after research it said that it’s an hour, at least, to and from major spots like Shibuya, which is nearly accurate, but that’s just how many places there are. The downside is if you want to stay past midnight, transportation can be tricky with some lines stopping after 12mn. Also, the only other challenge is the headroom. My husband is 6’4” and he found himself hitting his head many times, so this is something to think about when booking. Otherwise, it’s a wonderful area that is within walking distance to groceries and many nice restaurants by the train station. It is also very quiet and peaceful.

We had an amazing stay at this private house in the heart of Tokyo! The location couldn't be better—right in the city center and just a short walk to train station, making it super easy to get around. Many major sightseeing spots like Skytree, Asakusa, Shinjuku were close by, which made exploring the city a breeze. The house itself was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed, including a fully functional kitchen and all the necessary amenities. There are many restaurants around it and a convenient store is just a few meters away. We especially appreciated the free bicycles provided—they were perfect for getting around the neighborhood. There’s also convenient paid parking nearby for those traveling by car. Check-in and checkout were seamless, and the host was helpful and responsive throughout our stay. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to experience Tokyo comfortably and conveniently!

We stayed as a family for several nights.Partly because it was newly built, everywhere was very clean and I had a pleasant time.Each room had a slightly different atmosphere, and the interior was stylish and relaxing. I was grateful for the baby chair, crib, and toys for my child.I was able to reduce my luggage, and my children were able to play without getting bored, which was a great help to me as a parent.There were also a range of appliances such as a kitchen and washing machine, and I was able to do a little housework smoothly during my stay. It was also nice to have enough space for the whole family to relax.Personally, I was happy that I was able to eat in the living room and put him to bed early at night, without disrupting the rhythm of my life. It was within walking distance of the station, and there were many supermarkets and restaurants nearby, so I had no trouble shopping and eating during my stay.It was easy to access Asakusa and the Skytree, and the balance between sightseeing and daily life was just right. Communication with the host was very smooth, and they responded politely to this question, giving me a sense of security.This is a highly recommended inn for families.If I have the opportunity to come to Tokyo again, I would definitely like to use it again.

It was very close to the station and easy to understand. The inside was also very beautiful, and there were many rooms, so it was very good. At night, there were people calling in front of the station, and the back street was a love hotel district, so I was a little worried about security. Otherwise, I was very satisfied!

Moderate room size, well-equipped and convenient, quick and smooth communication

I stayed here for over a month and had a great time. The flat has everything you'll need, new washer/dryer, nice shower/bathroom, separate toilet. Comfy bed and sofa, kitchen well equipped. The area is nice and quiet, in 5 min you are at the riverside where you can walk or run for miles along the quiet riverbank. A nice escape should you feel overwhelmed by busy Tokyo. You will be able to reach all areas of Tokyo quickly as the flat is right next to the train stop, it takes a minute to be on the platform. If you are very noise sensitive that might be a problem for you, however it wasn't for me. The two hosts are very friendly and accommodating and made me feel welcome at any time. I can only recommend it.

Excellent! Eri was always attentive to answer my questions immediately. The super well located studio in front of a plaza and market that also had a pharmacy was a plus traveling with my son. Being right in front of the train to everything easier after the hour hikes. I highly recommend this stay and would definitely stay with Eri again when I return to Japan.

Brilliant facilities and just about what you would need for a place in Tokyo. A bit out of the way of the centre but that did not bother us!

We had a lovely stay here. very close to a train station or a 10 minute walk to another which was perfect, it was in a nice quite area. good communication from host. was clean throughout, very good shower and had a nice comfortable bed, slightly smaller then we are used to being from England but was still cosy. would recommend 👌

Yuki was very communicative, willing to help, and gave great suggestions and instructions. The place was clean and in a good area. My family and I would stay here again if we were in the area!

Amazing Location and Great Local Eats! Masanari’s place is in a fantastic location—just a very short walk to Aoto Station, making it super convenient for getting around Tokyo. What really made the stay special was the neighborhood itself—there are so many authentic Japanese restaurants nearby, from ramen shops to cozy izakayas. It felt like a true local experience. The place was clean, quiet, and comfortable—perfect after a day of exploring. Highly recommended for anyone who wants easy access to the train and great food right around the corner!

Sho's flat is a perfectly located room in a neighbourhood which is fun to explore - tons to do, all within walking distance. The nearby temples/shrines are sublime. Take Sho's excellent food recommendations - all of which turned out to be exceptional; recommended walk to the gym/pool also great. (Within blocks, there is a restaurant-filled quarter - incredible variety.) The walks themselves are scenic, and the location convenient to virtually all of Tokyo. Sho was always kind, helpful and responsive. The room is a great place to crash...do bring earplugs, though, as you are at the mercy of the guests upstairs (who may not walk on tiptoe.) The character of the small room is that of a simple hotel - it is not very personal or apartment-like. The bathroom is comfortable, clean and functions well. Although the check-in process sounded quite elaborate, it ended up being easy. Choose this place for the location and exploring ...and for a good night's sleep, as the room is small and simple.

the host was very responsive and kind. they were able to get us extra pillows, which was nice. the room was clean and the extra toiletries were awesome as well. the bed was a lot firmer than I am used to, but I think that's just Japanese style! Just a heads up :)

This stay was perfect! Comfortable beds, great space, kitchen with everything you would need for a few nights stay. The area was very walkable and quiet with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The station was also very close, which was great for getting around Tokyo quickly! Would definitely stay hear again.

I love this place. It’s in a quieter neighbourhood and the room is sizeable especially for the standards in Japan. Only thing is if you don’t like the noise coming from upstairs as the walls are a bit too thin, choose the top floor. But it’s only accessible by stairs. Train station is closed by, convenient.

The house is in a Japanese neighborhood, so you can feel the life of a local.The house is very comfortable ~ The host is very professional and enthusiastic, and will help solve the problem immediately.It is close to Arakawa, you can take a walk on the riverside ~ near the road, so there will be car noises, earplugs are recommended
