Nishimura-tei Hanare - 100-year-old old house with a kitchen & dining room

Nishimura Residence is an old-fashioned Nara-machiya that has been standing on a piece of Nara-machi for more than 100 years. I was a “grandmother” for a long time when I was a child. In Nara Town, there is a pleasant despicable feeling that never changes. "I want to be filled with this pleasant contempt even for future generations." With that in mind, I took care of the empty Nishimura Residence. - Nishimura-Tei is originally a traditional Japanese house which has been here in Nara-machi town over 100 years, where my grandmother used to live in. My mother and I decided to renovate this house to preserve and pass down the virtue of good old days in Japan to the next generation as well as to show it to you.

Located along the Takano Highway, it has great access to Mt. Takano, Osaka, Wakayama City, etc. This room has 2 single beds and 2 semi-double beds. You can enjoy breakfast in a Japanese-style room or relax on the sofa. We also provide free drinks. We can also accommodate English. You can enjoy the garden in all seasons, but especially in May when the roses are in full bloom and you can enjoy the wonderful fragrance. You can also have tea in the garden. Accessible via JR station with a Japan Rail Pass, it features a kitchen for self-catering and indoor bicycle storage. The nearest station is Oji Station on the JR Line (18 minutes from Osaka Tennoji Station). It is about a 20-minute bus ride from Oji Station. If you are coming by train, we will pick you up at the nearest station. The last pick-up time is 7:00 PM. After that, please use the bus. There is a lovely hot spring nearby, or you can walk there. There is a barbecue facility in the garden. Convenient access to Kyoto, Osaka, Nara, Koyasan, and Yoshino.

Hanastay Kawachinagano is a cozy and welcoming guesthouse located in a quiet residential area. Our on-site manager will greet you at your scheduled arrival time and assist with the check-in procedure. Please kindly note: Some rooms currently do not have curtains installed. The manager keeps two cats on-site. Staff may enter and work around the surrounding outdoor areas during the daytime.
