Absolutely wonderful stay. The villa is clean, spacious, with a huge outside area. Pool was perfect temperature, with comfy sun beds surrounding. The hot tub was also a lovely bonus! Air con worked perfectly, and the kitchen had everything you’d need. We made do without a car, but be mindful that the roads are very steep and windy, so renting a car would make your life easier - especially if you’re planning on exploring. Almyrida beach was lovely and sandy. Sunbeds were €6 a day, which we didn’t think was bad. Plenty of decent restaurants, and a supermarket also on the beachfront. Plaka, only a short drive (or 20 minute walk) down the hill has some lovely restaurants for dinner. All VERY reasonably priced. Overall the Villa was perfect. The Host was responsive and helpful. I would 100% recommend this villa if you’re after a relaxing week in the sun!

We had a lovely stay in Crete! Our villa was so peaceful. You hardly hear any outside life. You most certainly need a car especially if you plan on moving around to see different things. The water pressure in the bathroom was amazing! The house had amazing views. Some of the best sunsets we saw. The housekeeper was always on hand for whatever you needed and responded really quickly. Overall an amazing stay.

We spent the most lovely time at Nikos place with our baby and friends. The villa is located directly by the sea with a spectacular view. We enjoyed really enjoyed our breakfasts watching the waves and listening to the ocean so much. The place is very quiet and private. Nikos is the most welcoming host and gave us great directions for the island. We can definitely recommend staying there! Thank you so much for having us.

The photos don't really do this properly justice. The setting is truly amazing, it's a comfortable space. We had an amazing time. Fit and finish on a few things could be dealt with but very minor things that didn't cause any trouble with our stay. The cleaners came to empty bins and change sheets regularly. You will definitely need a car to get to and from the property.

Both Ioanna and Spiros were great hosts. Incredibly welcoming and responsive. Nothing was too much trouble. The villa was beautiful, the views from the pool amazing and it was easy to drive to the old town within 6 minutes. The walk to the beach was about 15-20 mins which we did once. I’d highly recommend this villa and the hosts. 😊

We had a lovely stay at Stelios Villa. Incredible beautiful surroundings, it’s a short walk into Kalyves, we didn’t realise until day 3 but there’s a small parade of beach bars and restaurants if you walk a bit further than we had been for first 2 days. The stay was lovely, the house was beautiful. We really enjoyed the village and it’s relatively slow pace. Stelios was very responsive to messages and very helpful too.

A beautiful villa in a quiet place, where it is convenient to rent a car for outings and the supermarket. Within walking distance is a small basic beach with a restaurant, without sunbeds etc. It is a 15-minute drive to the center of Chania. The villa has a beautiful spacious garden and is focused on outdoor living. Communication with the host went well and we received quick answers to questions. During our stay, the garden and swimming pool had become very dirty due to bad weather, this was quickly cleaned again.

We had a really great time here! In real life, the accommodation looks even better than in the pictures. The view was impressive every time, you couldn't get enough of it. Everything was super clean, nicely decorated and exactly as you would like it when you arrive. The landlady was totally warm and attentive. You immediately felt welcome, and if you had any questions, she was always quick to reach and helpful. Overall, it was an incredibly beautiful and all-round successful stay for us. If we could give more than 5 stars, we definitely would. We would come back anytime and can absolutely recommend the place!

Wonderful Experience at the Villa Elias! Our stay at the villa was perfect. The sea view was breathtaking, especially during sunset – a true sense of calm, quiet, and complete privacy. Choosing this villa was an excellent decision, especially because of the heated pool, which the kids absolutely loved. They enjoyed both swimming and playing in the spacious garden. The villa is well-equipped, with many useful items that made our stay very comfortable, including an air pump for pool toys. The location is also great – close to shops, supermarkets, and pharmacies. Book this Airbnb. Do not think twice. Nice to be greeted with wine and snacks after the flight over. 3 styles of coffee makers with coffee. Sugar, spices, olive oil and balsamic to get you started. 4 bedroom 3 full baths. Great living and cooking areas. Very spacious for our group of 7. Clean and comfortable. Equipped with everything you could ask for. We made a few terrific meals with the grill and kitchen equipment. Harilao has put a lot of thought and planning in to his home. Gorgeous outdoor space with heated pool. Indoors is clean and uncluttered. The views are lovely. 1 minute on walk up the street to fresh bread daily and cute market. 3 minute walk down the street is a bigger market. 4 minute walk to my favorite beach. 8 Euro for 2 chairs and an umbrella. Bar right there if you want a drink. Walk to coffee, pastries, restaurants and bars near by. We loved the home and beach so much that we slipped a few day trips. 5 stars. I hope to come back! We had a great stay at the villa - it was even more beautiful than described, with great views of the sea, beautiful pool, relaxed chill area with sun and shade. The rooms look like the photos and it's nice that each room has its own bathroom. The kitchen is equipped with the essentials. Stamatis came to visit us on the day of arrival, gave us tips and was also on site shortly before departure to say goodbye. Very helpful host. The villa is about 20 minutes by car from Rethymno - in between there are always large supermarkets. The city itself is super beautiful in the center with many incredibly good restaurants. The beach at the villa itself is not a highlight. We got in the car and drove past Rethymno to the large long sandy beach with many small taverns. Highly recommended.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful villa! The house is truly luxurious, in perfect condition, and tastefully designed with great attention to detail. The layout of the rooms is simply brilliant — spacious, comfortable, and perfect for relaxing and spending quality time together. The heated pool was one of our favorite features — always at the perfect temperature to cool down and unwind at any time of the day. The location couldn’t be better: just a few minutes’ walk to the beach, where you’ll find plenty of great restaurants, cafes, and shops. A very special thank you to our amazing hosts! They were incredibly warm, welcoming, and always just a message away. Every little question or request was answered within minutes — we felt truly taken care of from the very first moment. The villa was absolutely stunning and had been designed with such an eye for detail. The villa was also immaculate and cleaned regularly throughout our stay. The villa itself had everything you could possibly want, the pool and hot tub were exceptional and the facilities were just as pictured. The games room was a particular favourite of ours. The host was also fabulous! He met us upon arrival and made us feel very welcome. Providing everything we needed to get settled as well as for our little one! We cannot wait to stay again! The place was better than I expected. In reality, everything looked bigger than in the photos. We were therefore positively surprised. The view of the sea and mountains was beautiful. The hosts made a great effort and communicated wonderfully. We could imagine coming back.

This is a 10/10 Villa. We have travelled a lot and this is by far the best Villa we have stayed in. We were a family of 9 (5 adults and 4 children aged 2, 4, 9 and 11). The views are stunning, the pool is big, all the rooms have private bathroom. Jacuzzi is also perfect for when the sun goes down! Theo was a wonderful host helping us, giving good recommendations and suprising as with some nice gestures. This Villa really is a Gem as the name suggests. As for the surroundings - it is 100% private! For me the best part was that there is a nice local village to walk to every night. There are some amazing Tavernas/Restaurants with delicious food and reasonable prices (also a mini-market). There is also a nice beach with a good restaurant and a nice cozy beach bar - it is only a 10 minute walk from the villa. And if you rent a car then it is a 10 minute ride to the Rethymnon old town, which is also a very nice place with lots of shops and restaurants. The Villa was worth every euro!

We loved our stay in Michael and Kirsten’s house. The house was perfect for us and very well equipped. The communication was great from begin to end, and if there was an issue, it was sorted out very quickly. The area was very peaceful and a perfect place to relax and recharge.

Great Villa in a good location. Transport is needed to stay at this Villa however, this is obvious from the booking and any map used. Host and management company very efficient with communications and a hassle free stay. Well recommended.

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful, well-kept, and lovingly furnished place. Everything you need is there. The host was super friendly and gave us some good recommendations for restaurants and the surrounding area. Upon arrival, the fridge was already stocked with drinks, fruit, and other items, so there was no need to go shopping on the day of our arrival. It was a perfect stay, and we would love to come back.

Lovely villa with sun on the balconies and pool almost all day. Beautiful view, well equipped and plenty of room. Mark was extremely helpful and responsive. The villa is in a lovely, not too touristy, village with great tavernas, two little shops and very kind staff who work there. A great location to explore Crete from!

We had an excellent stay at Villa Logari. Beautiful home that looked just like the photos. Host was extremely responsive and hospitality was top notch… the daily breakfast basket is an amazing touch. The villa is in Xirosterni which is a bit off the beaten path but is charming and we were able to explore the local area as well as travel to both Chania and Rethymno which are each around 45 minutes away. Would definitely return!

A beautiful house in a quiet, perfect spot. Loved the rooftop area for catching the cool breeze over a glass of wine as the sun set over the sea. Plenty of friendly places to eat in the village and an ideal base for exploring the region more widely.

Great place and great host!

The villa is excellent, perfect for groups of 2-4. We stayed for 13 days and wish it could’ve been more. Alexander and Nadia met us on arrival and explained everything, they gave us a welcome package and the place was spotless. They also came and cleaned twice during our stay and provided everything you need including extra bits which were very thoughtful. The inside and outside has everything you need, including strong wifi connections (you also get 5G at the Villa). Kefalas is a lovely village, two great shops and 3 local tavernas and all the locals made us feel very welcome. You will need a car to get around as we did, I would imagine a taxi could become costly if you plan to go out a few times. Travel is pretty easy, 15 mins to Georgiopuouli, 40 mins either way to both Chania and Rethymno. The roads to the Villa are fine, a little hilly but the surfaces are good and easy to drive. All in all we had a lovely time and would definitely go back, highly recommend!
