Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Kemi

The location was good and the place was clean. The host was helpful and responsive whenever needed.

Great stay, great bathroom/sauna. pool table was nice for the child. Ski trails went nearby and the dog park was also a plus 👍🏼

worked great for our wedding party, too bad we didn't get to enjoy all the amenities, such as the sauna. Thanks again.

There were four of us in the apartment and we felt very comfortable. Ilkka personally welcomed us. The house is close to the road and is well accessible by car even in winter. The sauna is great, the beds comfortable and the sofa new. Spices and coffee were provided. Ilkka arranged us cheaply for cross-country skis and snowshoes and spelt a cross-country ski trail for us that started behind the house. We also saw the aurora lights 2x. Everything was super straightforward. Thank you very much.

Elina was very quick to reply and help us out. The house was big and had everything we needed and more for a short stay in Haparanda/Tornio area. The sauna was good and the various spaces were all comfortable. It’s a great option and I would stay again

We ( 2 families) had an amazing stay at Johanna’s ! The house is large enough well furnished and the kitchen fully equipped. Everything as described in the listing. The location is super nice and we were able to see the northern lights from the house itself !! Johanna was quick to respond to our concerns and she takes care of providing extra heating during the very cold days! If you have a car with you.. then it’s impossible to go wrong with this stay. Thanks Johanna for hosting us .. we really enjoyed the stay !

The accommodation was super nice. We were 4 friends and spent a week there. The peace and solitude made the house unique. But you definitely need a car! The kitchen was super well equipped with a toaster, coffee machine, oven and little things like oil, flour, sugar and tea. So really perfect! The fireplace in the evening made everything nice and cozy. But the highlight was that we could see the Northern Lights from the house and only had to drive 5 minutes to see the whole sky full of the lights! We would come back again and again! :)

We had a very pleasant stay. We really enjoyed the sauna and jacuzzi, and the location was conveniently close to the city center. The host was very friendly and responded quickly. We can definitely recommend this place if you're planning to stay in Oulu.

We stayed here for the second time, so I knew the place. Lovely atmosphere still and it was especially nice to come to a familiar place. Tuira offered her best and we rode our bikes smoothly around the bucket of Oulu!

Beautiful apartment in a good location. The center of Oulu was within walking distance and large grocery stores were located next to the apartment. Check-in was easy and flexible (we arrived in Oulu at midnight). We arrived by car, so the parking space in the apartment yard was a big plus. For our short visit of a few nights, the apartment was great!

A quiet and peaceful retreat from the din of large cities and a truly remarkable host. Looking forward to returning.

A perfect place to stay — whether for a longer visit or just a quick stop. After a long drive, we relaxed in the sauna — it was absolutely perfect. The bed was also very comfortable. We were a bit skeptical at first when we saw the photos (my husband is 2 meters tall), but it turned out to be just right. Raili and her husband were such lovely hosts. Thank you! 🤍

My funniest and most casual Airbnb stay so far! This is not a polished and polished place to stay, but a shabby and relaxed one. Authentic and cozy. The house is equipped with two saunas. I tried the electric sauna inside, and it gave really hot steam. The sound system was excellent, and you could play in peace at a volume that did not disturb the neighbors. I don't think it can be heard by the neighbors at all. There was even a karaoke machine, but I didn't have time to try it. There would have been all kinds of two- and four-wheeled motorized vehicles and a boat. The only thing missing was an airplane. I borrowed a bicycle, and it was convenient to get around until I got it out of order. Nevertheless, the host was not nervous, but stated that the bike was old, as it was. This is an excellent accommodation for a vacationer in this area, which can accommodate several people!

Thanks to the host family for the time in their beautiful house. It is really very big and offers plenty of space. We used the sauna inside and out every day. The communication with the host family was perfect at all times. We all felt very comfortable here and thank you also for the beautifully decorated Christmas tree.

My favourite part of the whole holiday was staying in this beautiful cottage with stunning surroundings. It was very cosy and looked even more amazing in real life than the photos. It was very spacious and had everything we needed. Very well equipped and incredibly comfy. I have recommended Johannes place to my friends and I would happily come again. Thank you for making our Christmas a magical one. Johannes was a very wonderful host who always answered our questions promptly and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you again, Amie.

This was my second time staying at Sonja’s place. After my first visit in January I couldn’t wait to come back. Since this trip was in May I had the pleasure of experiencing this beautiful spot in two very different seasons. It is a beautiful magical place and I will be back again! Sonja is so kind and helpful.

Very nice and atmospheric place to stay on the way to Lapland!

Mikko`s place was amazing, much more than we expected. I fell in love with the pictures and private location (based on maps analysis) but it was much better than described and the photos, will return!! This was by far the most stocked-up place we have stayed at (linens, kitchen appliances, cuttlery and kitchenware, toiletries, firewood for fireplace etc). All equipment is fairly new and in very good state. You have a panoramic view of the bay, perfect to stay indoors enjoying winter wonderland views and/or working remotely. High-speed internet and smart TV enhanced our evenings by the fireplace. We have also took advantage of the built-in sauna (as part of the house, accessible through the glass patio). Mikko is very kind and friendly, gave lots of suggestions and was forward thinking. He was very welcoming and his cottage made us feel right at home. Easy to communicate, even if sometimes some Google Translate is needed - good luck with learning English, Mikko, you are doing great!

I really enjoyed my stay. The cabin was clean, well equipped and comfortable. I loved the sauna. The beach was nearby and the city centre easily reached along amazing cycle/scooter paths.
