Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Kemi

Fantastic place, super friendly hosts! Everything is just what we wanted. The area is beyond beautiful! The house has absolutely anything a family of 5 needs. Thank you for letting us your beautiful cabin.

Loistava majoitus, hieno kylpyhuone/sauna. biljardipöytä oli mukava viihdyke lapselle. Hiihtoladut menivät lähellä ja koirapuisto aivan vieressä oli myös plussaa 👍🏼

Wir waren zu viert in der Wohnung und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Ilkka hat uns persönlich begrüßt. Das Haus liegt nahe der Straße und ist auch im Winter gut mit dem Auto erreichbar. Die Sauna ist prima, die Betten bequem und das Sofa neu. Gewürze und Kaffee waren vorhanden. Ilkka hat uns Langlaufski und Schneeschuhe günstig organisiert und eine Loipe für uns gespurt, die hinter dem Haus losging. Polarlichter haben wir auch 2x gesehen. Alles war super unkompliziert. Gerne wieder. Vielen Dank.

Kari und seine Frau sind sehr freundliche Gastgeber. Das Haus ist leider etwas in die Jahre gekommen und Ausbesserungen sind nötig (zB defekte Küchenschublade) jedoch waren die Gastgeber sehr sehr freundlich und immer erreichbar, wenn es Fragen oder Probleme gab. Sie haben diese dann auch schnellstmöglich gelöst. Es wäre informativ gewesen, wenn man gewusst hätte, dass der Indoor-Pool nicht beheizt ist. In Finnland vermutlich normal, für uns Deutsche jedoch ungewohnt (besonders im Winter ;-)) Insgesamt empfehle ich die Unterkunft und die netten Gastgeber auf jeden Fall weiter. Sicher auch im Sommer wunderschön hier!!! PS:Besonders freundlich fand ich, dass wir bei Polarlichtern in unserem Garten proaktiv "rausgeklingelt" wurden-vielen Dank, das war ein tolles Erlebnis...

Elina was very quick to reply and help us out. The house was big and had everything we needed and more for a short stay in Haparanda/Tornio area. The sauna was good and the various spaces were all comfortable. It’s a great option and I would stay again

We ( 2 families) had an amazing stay at Johanna’s ! The house is large enough well furnished and the kitchen fully equipped. Everything as described in the listing. The location is super nice and we were able to see the northern lights from the house itself !! Johanna was quick to respond to our concerns and she takes care of providing extra heating during the very cold days! If you have a car with you.. then it’s impossible to go wrong with this stay. Thanks Johanna for hosting us .. we really enjoyed the stay !

Une maison familiale coup de cœur, cocooning à souhaits. . . On se sent comme à la maison , bien au delà de nos espérances. Notre seul regret, ne pas avoir rencontré nos hôtes ♥️ (en déplacement actuellement) . Nous reviendrons sans aucun doute , partager un Fika time avec cette adorable famille …

Meillä oli ihana Oulu-loma idyllisessä asunnossa josta huokui vanhat ajat, mutta joka oli hyvällä maulla sopivasti päivitetty tähän aikaan. Kiitos Marko erinomaisesta yhteydenpidosta ja kaikesta avusta!

Kaunis asunto hyvällä sijainnilla. Oulun keskusta oli aivan kävelyetäisyydellä ja isot ruokakaupat löytyivät asunnon vierestä. Check-in oli helppo ja joustava (saavuimme Ouluun keskiyöllä). Saavuimme autolla, joten parkkipaikka asunnon pihassa oli iso plussa. Meidän lyhyelle muutaman yön vierailulle asunto oli loistava!

A quiet and peaceful retreat from the din of large cities and a truly remarkable host. Looking forward to returning.

best possible location. huge apartment with a lovely sauna. only 1 key which we manage to lock into the apartment - the host took her time to drive there late at night to let us in. ❤️

Lage ist sehr gut zentral! Wohnung gut ausgestattet!

Hieno kohde. Puhdasta ja rauhallista. Sauna erinomainen. Mukava oli istua verannalla ja kahvit juoda.Kaikki mitä tarvitset löytyvät. Tullaan toistekin.

Danke an die Gastfamilie für die Zeit in ihrem schönen Haus. Es ist wirklich sehr gross und bietet viel Platz. Die Sauna innen und aussen haben wir jeden Tag genutzt. Die Kommunikation mit der Gastfamilie war zu jeder Zeit perfekt. Wir haben uns hier alle sehr wohl gefühlt und Danke auch für den schön geschmückten Weihnachtsbaum.

My favourite part of the whole holiday was staying in this beautiful cottage with stunning surroundings. It was very cosy and looked even more amazing in real life than the photos. It was very spacious and had everything we needed. Very well equipped and incredibly comfy. I have recommended Johannes place to my friends and I would happily come again. Thank you for making our Christmas a magical one. Johannes was a very wonderful host who always answered our questions promptly and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you again, Amie.

This was my second time staying at Sonja’s place. After my first visit in January I couldn’t wait to come back. Since this trip was in May I had the pleasure of experiencing this beautiful spot in two very different seasons. It is a beautiful magical place and I will be back again! Sonja is so kind and helpful.

Kaikki sujui hienosti.

Villa Sofia on aivan uskomattoman rauhallisella ja kauniilla paikalla mutta samalla kaikki palvelut ovat vain 10-15min automatkan päässä. Kaikki tarvittava löytyy mökistä ja jos olisimme olleet pidempään niin myös rantasaunan lämmittäminen olisi ollut aivan mahtava iltapäivän puuhastelu. Muutaman autominuutin päästä löytyi myös Puuluodon haastava valaistulatu. Juhanin kanssa kommunikointi oli todella nopeaa ja helppoa ja tunsimme olemme heti tervetulleiksi.

Tosi kiva ja tunnelmallinen majoituskohde matkalla Lappiin!

Mikko`s place was amazing, much more than we expected. I fell in love with the pictures and private location (based on maps analysis) but it was much better than described and the photos, will return!! This was by far the most stocked-up place we have stayed at (linens, kitchen appliances, cuttlery and kitchenware, toiletries, firewood for fireplace etc). All equipment is fairly new and in very good state. You have a panoramic view of the bay, perfect to stay indoors enjoying winter wonderland views and/or working remotely. High-speed internet and smart TV enhanced our evenings by the fireplace. We have also took advantage of the built-in sauna (as part of the house, accessible through the glass patio). Mikko is very kind and friendly, gave lots of suggestions and was forward thinking. He was very welcoming and his cottage made us feel right at home. Easy to communicate, even if sometimes some Google Translate is needed - good luck with learning English, Mikko, you are doing great!

I really enjoyed my stay. The cabin was clean, well equipped and comfortable. I loved the sauna. The beach was nearby and the city centre easily reached along amazing cycle/scooter paths.
