The house dates back to 1875 and is therefore the basis of the later IJmuiden. With the largest sea lock in the world within walking distance and beach and fishing port within a radius of 1 km, this place is an ideal starting point for day trips. Haarlem (15 min.) and Amsterdam (30min) are also easily accessible. Public transport bus and train - are available as well as free parking.

This beautiful family ship is fully equipped. There is a fully equipped kitchen, internet and toilet. There are 8 beds spread over a captain’s cabin, a room in the front and a fixed bunk bed next to the aisle. Showers are possible in the shower complex in the harbor, where 16 showers are available for you. You can also sail to Amsterdam and stay there for the night for example, or sail on the IJsselmeer or North Sea. We would like to tell you what is possible with our beautiful boat.

The accommodation was as described, good value for money, everything as described, very nice contact with the landlord (his daughter), was very helpful and gave us valuable tips for our stay, was always available and responded immediately to questions, etc. Very nice stay! When you know what to expect (area, facilities, weather) it couldn’t be better ☺️ We felt very comfortable in any weather with our 2 little children (20months old and 3 months old) a little bit of physical flexibility is required as the place is only accessible through the sand and to get into bed you have to either climb up or bend down 😉

We stayed 3 nights with Sonja and Ari. The room was exactly as described and the location is simply great. The check in and out were very relaxed and also possible independently. The descriptions were great and everything was easy to find. The bathroom was always free and very clean. Everything you need was there, even drinks in the fridge and sunscreen. The distance to the beach is a stone's throw and you even have a view of the sea from the window. We felt super comfortable all around!

The best, the owner, Nelleke. His great kindness and ability to make us feel at home. We would definitely return, and we recommend it to everyone. We will remember it forever!

We had a really good stay at Ineke's summer house. The location is perfect with a few minutes from the beach. The patio is perfect to enjoy the sun. Ineke was very friendly and helpful and overall it is a lovely place to visit with a dog.
