I live in the neighborhood and was happy to find Carlos' place close to my home (during construction). It was very convenient, clean, private and comfy. It had all the amenities and kitchen/bath supplies that we needed to feel like we were at home. Carlos and his family were extremely welcoming and responsive. I highly recommend Carlos' home as a place to stay whether you are visiting or need a place to stay temporarily (like us). This experience helped me meet a neighbor and I am glad a place like this is available in my neighborhood. I will recommend to anyone I know.

this place was perfect for my 2.5 year leukemia follow up. I had four very large, very heavy bags because I was in transit to another country for a three month stay. I was able to look each bag, one by one, from Theresa’s place to the hospital in about 10 minutes per walk, plus time in the gate house. If you need a place close to the NIH for your visit, don’t hesitate – it’s perfect.

We had a fantastic stay at this charming home! The location was perfect, close to everything we needed but still peaceful and relaxing. The house itself was cozy, clean, and full of character, and it quickly became a favorite spot for my kids, they didn’t want to leave! The host was incredibly accommodating and responsive, making everything so easy from check-in to check-out. We’d absolutely stay here again!
