This place creatively incorporates the historic parts of an olive mill with contemporary design. It was roomy and had everything we needed, but a minor thing, body wash would have been nice. Met the owner who was very nice and gracious. Loved being able to walk to 3 different great restaurants, a market, pharmacy and close proximity to Rethymno. It is strategically located between Chania and Heraklion, too. Definitely recommended!

Wonderful place, House have everything needed in an amazing place near beautiful Agios Georges . Amazing view, the powerful beauty of nature in its full embodiment We loved the window in the bedroom and the rooftop with the swing bed that brought us so much joy. Ich kann den Aufenthalt in einem Wort zusammenfassen und zwar mit „Traumhaft“ Die Schlafzimmer, die Badezimmer, die Küche und vorallem der Außenbereich mit dieser wunderschönen Aussicht. Würden jederzeit wieder in diese Unterkunft sollten wir wieder nach Kreta fliegen. Einfach perfekt!

This is the second time we have stayed in villa Daphne (we have also stayed twice in Myrte, the villa next door) and it was perfect from the moment we arrived. The views from all the balconies are spectacular and the surrounding countryside is beautiful...we absolutely love it there. The villa itself is also very spacious, comfortable and fuss free (which we like). Beds are super comfy and the choice of balconies the villa offers means there is always a cool place to sit at any time of day. Overall...perfection.

Unser Aufenthalt in der Villa auf Kreta war einfach traumhaft und hat all unsere Erwartungen übertroffen! Schon bei der Ankunft wurden wir herzlich empfangen, und die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern war von Anfang an freundlich, schnell und unkompliziert. Die Villa selbst war in perfektem Zustand – sehr sauber, hochwertig und modern ausgestattet und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Die Küche hatte alles, was man braucht, die Schlafzimmer waren gemütlich und klimatisiert, und der Außenbereich mit Pool war ein absolutes Highlight. Hier konnten wir entspannen und die wunderschöne Aussicht genießen. Sogar eine Tischtennisplatte war vorhanden, die für viel Spaß und Abwechslung gesorgt hat. Die Lage der Villa ist ideal: ruhig und idyllisch, aber dennoch nah genug zu Stränden, Tavernen und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und konnten unseren Urlaub in vollen Zügen genießen. Vielen Dank für diese unvergessliche Zeit, wir können diese Unterkunft sehr empfehlen!

Wir waren 3 Familien mit Kinder, da war es perfekt, dass wir für uns waren und keine direkten Nachbarn hatten. Die Lage in den Bergen ist wunderschön und man kann dem Trubel entfliehen. Zu einem super schönen Strand kann man schnell zu Fuß laufen, aber leider nicht möglich mit Kinder/Kinderwagen/viel Gepäck und auch nicht mit dem Auto. Aber es gibt in der Nähe einige andere Strände die super und schnell mit dem Auto zu erreichen sind. Generell braucht man fast immer das Auto um irgendwo hinzukommen, da es in der direkten Umgebung nicht viel gibt. Uns hat das aber nicht gestört! Maria und Nektaria sind tolle Gastgeber. Wir wurden mit frischem Obst und kühlen Getränken empfangen und haben sogar 2x gekochtes Essen bekommen 😊. Das Haus ist wunderschön und entspricht absolut den Bildern und Beschreibung. Besonders gefallen hat uns auch der Pizzaofen. Auch für die Kinder wurde uns alles bereitgestellt (Betten, Hochstühle etc). Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder! ❤️

Ein absoluter Traum – pure Entspannung in luxuriösem Ambiente! Unser Aufenthalt in der Mondreux Villa & Spa war einfach unvergesslich. Schon bei der Ankunft wurden wir herzlich empfangen und haben uns vom ersten Moment an rundum wohlgefühlt. Die Villa ist nicht nur stilvoll und modern eingerichtet, sondern auch bis ins kleinste Detail durchdacht – von hochwertigen Möbeln bis hin zu liebevollen Dekorationen. Das absolute Highlight war der private Spa-Bereich mit Whirlpool und Sauna – perfekt, um nach einem Tag am Strand oder einer Wanderung durch die wunderschöne Landschaft Kretas zu entspannen. Der Außenbereich mit Pool, Garten ist einfach spektakulär – morgens beim Frühstück auf der Terrasse den Sonnenaufgang zu genießen, war magisch. Auch die Lage ist ideal: ruhig und abgeschieden für maximale Erholung, und dennoch sind Tavernen, Strände und Sehenswürdigkeiten gut erreichbar. Wonderful Experience at the Villa Elias! Our stay at the villa was perfect. The sea view was breathtaking, especially during sunset – a true sense of calm, quiet, and complete privacy. Choosing this villa was an excellent decision, especially because of the heated pool, which the kids absolutely loved. They enjoyed both swimming and playing in the spacious garden. The villa is well-equipped, with many useful items that made our stay very comfortable, including an air pump for pool toys. The location is also great – close to shops, supermarkets, and pharmacies. This place is a treasure. The views from the living room and kitchen are spectacular. The house has many clever features that are well designed. The area around Almyrida is fun to explore--go down to the beach or on a hike along the coast. Almyrida is a cute beach town, very welcoming. And we did several further from the town adventures. We had no idea that Crete has so much to offer--pottery in Margarites, beautiful beaches, intense hikes, exceptional museums, exploring Hania's historic streets. The property management team were wonderful to interact with. We felt so fortunate to find such a gem. Thank you!!! We sure hope we can return.

Beatiful view and nice downstairs appartment with own pool and yard. Parking lot had always room for our car. From parking lot there are deep stairs down to the appartments yard. We came late in evening and it was little bit difficult to get in without light on the appartment door. Pool was great for swimming and view fo Chania and sea bay just amazing. If you have lot of electronic devices with you, take a power strip with you. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet during our stay in April. Really nice place to relax and enjoy life.

Beautiful place, great for families. Lots of toys and even a potty for the kids! Cleaner came mid week which was not necessary but so great. Beach is a 3 min walk. Really need a car to get there which was fine for us! Thanks for everything.

Book this Airbnb. Do not think twice. Nice to be greeted with wine and snacks after the flight over. 3 styles of coffee makers with coffee. Sugar, spices, olive oil and balsamic to get you started. 4 bedroom 3 full baths. Great living and cooking areas. Very spacious for our group of 7. Clean and comfortable. Equipped with everything you could ask for. We made a few terrific meals with the grill and kitchen equipment. Harilao has put a lot of thought and planning in to his home. Gorgeous outdoor space with heated pool. Indoors is clean and uncluttered. The views are lovely. 1 minute on walk up the street to fresh bread daily and cute market. 3 minute walk down the street is a bigger market. 4 minute walk to my favorite beach. 8 Euro for 2 chairs and an umbrella. Bar right there if you want a drink. Walk to coffee, pastries, restaurants and bars near by. We loved the home and beach so much that we slipped a few day trips. 5 stars. I hope to come back! Amazing home.

Wir waren als Familie mit den Großeltern dort. Allen drei Generationen hat es sehr gut gefallen. Der beheizbar Pool ist Ende Mai ein absolutes Plus und der Whirlpool direkt daneben macht den Außenbereich perfekt. Das Gelände ist großzügig, es gibt viel Schatten und die Aussicht ist der Hammer. Der geschützte Grillbereich ist zum frühstücken und Abendessen perfekt. Besonders hervorzuheben ist aber der erstklassige Service. Olga war immer erreichbar, das klemmende Hoftor innerhalb von einer halben Stunde repariert und zwei Mitarbeiter kommen jeden Morgen, nehmen den Müll mit, reinigen dem Außenbereich und sogar den Grill. Es gibt viele sehr gute Restaurants und alle Begegnungen waren postive und freundlich, uns hat es super gefallen.

This is a 10/10 Villa. We have travelled a lot and this is by far the best Villa we have stayed in. We were a family of 9 (5 adults and 4 children aged 2, 4, 9 and 11). The views are stunning, the pool is big, all the rooms have private bathroom. Jacuzzi is also perfect for when the sun goes down! Theo was a wonderful host helping us, giving good recommendations and suprising as with some nice gestures. This Villa really is a Gem as the name suggests. As for the surroundings - it is 100% private! For me the best part was that there is a nice local village to walk to every night. There are some amazing Tavernas/Restaurants with delicious food and reasonable prices (also a mini-market). There is also a nice beach with a good restaurant and a nice cozy beach bar - it is only a 10 minute walk from the villa. And if you rent a car then it is a 10 minute ride to the Rethymnon old town, which is also a very nice place with lots of shops and restaurants. The Villa was worth every euro!

Fantastische villa met prachtig zwembad en uitzicht. Beneden bij de zee kun je mooi snorkelen en vissen bekijken dankzij het super heldere water. Wij en onze kinderen hebben er van genoten. Eerste dorp is 30 minuten rijden dus zorg voor voldoende boodschappen.

Fick ett fint välkomnande! Bodde i lägenheten en vecka med mina vänner och boendet var över våra förväntningar. Det såg ut som på bilderna. Superfint! Alla var väldigt nöjda med bokningen av boendet och skulle kunna tänka sig att åka dit igen.

We had a fantastic time. The villa is stunning and had just been freshly renovated. Everything about it is designed to maximize the beautiful views, the airflow, peace and tranquility. The hosts were communicative, kind and generous with flexible check-in and out. The fantastic pool area, stonework, bathrooms, kitchen, linens, sauna/steamroom, washer & dryer, game room -- all were top quality. This was easily the most beautiful AirBnb we have ever stayed in. It was a good home base for exploring Crete. We were also happy to save one day for relaxing at the villa. We were only a family of four, and the villa could have easily held twice as many. Would love to return one day. Made wonderful memories here.

What an incredible holiday! Alexios’ villa was even more beautiful than the photos. Every room was spotless and the whole villa was very well set up and equipped for everything we could need. There were loads of outdoor communal areas and the outdoor kitchen was perfect for cooking. Alexios was really helpful and responsive to all of our needs. We were so sad to leave and will definitely be back!

This is a BEAUTIFUL place - the pictures do not do it justice. The combined kitchen and living area is HUGE, and so is the pool and outdoor space. All the bedrooms have ensuites and are identical, and all have the same view and access to the terrace. It is spotless. The place is just at the edge of a really quaint beach town. It is super quiet and peaceful, and a 2 minute walk away from a bunch of bars and restaurants. Sofia herself is a WONDERFUL host. She’s kind, welcoming, and so responsive. Stay here - the value for money is excellent, and it’s a fantastic little town.

this is a great Villa to stay at in central Crete that made it easy to branch off to many other areas of the island the best part was the Villa itself with its swimming pool and the views. great place to stay close to the small village of margarite. highly recommend it's got to be one of the best places to stay in all of Crete. Michalis was a great representing host.

Mehr geht einfach nicht! Die Villa ist schöner als auf den Bildern! Es ist einer der schönsten Orte, eins der schönsten Häuser und einer der besten Ecke auf Kreta! Allerdings muss man mit sich selbst etwas anfangen können, denn es ist wenig drum herum los. Aber so etwas hochwertiges haben wir selten gesehen! Alle Materialien des Hauses sind so toll zusammen ausgesucht und es ist einfach nur wunderschön 🤩

We had a great stay Antonios house. The house had everything we needed. It has very private grounds and amazing views of the area. Lots of outside spaces to find shade through the day. It’s a really generous space which wasn’t overlooked at all. The pool area was a big win. A previous reviewer mentioned mosquitoes but we didn’t see any the whole time we were there (mid- September). We loved our stay here, it was everything we could have wanted and more. Such a warm welcome with an assortment of delicious homemade food, fruit and local Raki. The villa layout was perfect for our family (2 adults and 3 kids) and as everyone’s said, the view out over the sea is spectacular- I’d never tire of that view! If we ever needed anything Aris and the team were always on hand to help. The villa is so well equipped too, and even plenty of condiments, which is such a thoughtful touch. The area around Plakias is relatively quiet compared to places in the North, but that suited us well. There are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets in Plakias and being able to have a meal together, right on the seafront is what holidays are made of. We didn’t have a bad meal out - best was probably Taverna Dionyssos, up in the hills behind the town. Highlights for me would be morning coffee on the terrace looking out at that amazing view and snorkelling in the cove just below the villa. Heaven
