Engelberg was absolutely gorgeous, and Andrea's apartment is in an ideal location. It's close enough to walk to the train station and grocery stores, but far enough away from the main area that it's very quiet and peaceful even when the town itself is quite busy. The hiking trails in the area are really fabulous and the apartment made a perfect basecamp. We also had basically everything we needed in the apartment -- the fridge was spacious enough for groceries for a week; there's a plethora of utensils, pots, and pans for cooking; and so we were able to cook for ourselves throughout our stay. Andrea was also very helpful -- he gave extremely detailed instructions on how to get into the apartment and nice recommendations for restaurants and activities in the area. Overall, this is a truly wonderful little apartment in a magnificent part of Switzerland!

My wife and I couldn’t believe what we were seeing as we drove up —absolutely stunning views that set the perfect tone for our stay. The drive to the home alone is worth mentioning, with breathtaking scenery all along the way. As soon as we walked in, we were immediately impressed by how spotless everything was, and the view from inside the home was just as incredible. The space has a modern cabin feel that was cozy and stylish. It’s incredibly peaceful, making it the perfect place to truly disconnect and unwind. Everything was comfortable and well-maintained; we didn’t have any issues during our stay. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, and made it clear they were available if we needed anything, which made us feel even more at ease. If you’re looking for a quiet retreat with access to nature, there are some great hiking and biking trails nearby. We highly recommend this place and would definitely come back! We liked staying with Astrid very much. The apartment is super nice, very clean and perfectly equipped. In addition, it is super centrally located with a beautiful view of the lake and the mountains. Astrid was always available to us and the whole check-in and check-out were extremely straightforward. We will be happy to come back anytime!! :)

We had a wonderful stay on the Eggbergen. It was truly a memorable experience. The apartment was spacious, beautifully equipped, and offered breathtaking views straight out of a picture book. We felt warmly welcomed and appreciated the many helpful tips we received during our time there. The fresh eggs, and other local produce from the nearby farm shop were a real treat, and we’ll definitely miss the peaceful atmosphere and the cows grazing below the house. Highly recommended for anyone looking to relax and enjoy nature in a stunning setting!

My wife was in Tina's apartment for 3 days for a class in Sarnen. It all worked out perfectly. Even before check-in, Tina answered our questions quickly, very friendly and helpful. The apartment corresponds exactly to the description. Everything necessary is available and everything is very clean. Perfect stay and highly recommended.

We ate at the Steak house next door and it was delicious!!! Then, the Airbnb is located in Meltchal, a beautiful village with magnificent landscapes!

By far, the best AirB&B experience with the mountain views, meadows in the foreground, serenity of river flow, proximity to Mt Titlis , Lake Trubsee & Brunni, train station & bus stops, shops, well equipped amenities and lastly the host. In Matthias, you have a very helpful, responsive host and his service exceeded my expectations.

Matt is a great host and our 4 days stay at his place in Engelberg was nothing short of amazing. The apartment is very big and has a beautiful view of the lake. It's at a very peaceful place yet walkable from the station. Sunnmatt bus stop is also close. Matt picked us up and dropped us off back to the station as we had quite a few bags. Kitchen had everything we needed. Matt also helped us with local recommendations. overall it was a great experience staying there. Thank you for hosting us.

Perfect accommodation and host, I had a wonderful holiday here. The scenery around the house is beautiful, even more beautiful than the attractions, it is highly recommended to spend a day hiking nearby. The room is also very well equipped, and the host has prepared everything you need. We don't drive, we rely on the train to get around, although it's 15 minutes from the train station, but the scenery is beautiful all the way, and it's a pleasure to walk on the road. The host is also very nice, solves any problems in time, and gives me very useful travel guides. This is the best homestay I have ever stayed in.

Charming apartment in a beautiful setting, surrounded by mountains. Peaceful and quiet atmosphere. The apartment was very clean and comfortable for our family of 5. Small but we really only used it to rest at the end of the day. I would definitely recommend it.

Dieter and Sylvia’s apartment is incredible, more beautiful than pictured, on an aquamarine lake with views of snowcapped peaks, farmhouse-dotted mountains, and windsurfers whipping around like dragon flies. We would have happily sat on the patio all day. Or better yet, on the stone steps with our feet in the lake! When time came to go indoors, each room was tasteful and comfortable, with big windows and phenomenal views. The kitchen is well designed, equipped with everything you need. And the apartment was spotlessly clean. There is a ton to do in the area and the town of Flüelen is relaxed and easy. We hope to come back to experience it in winter! Dieter and Sylvia were very generous with their attention, making sure our needs were met in the apartment and pointing us in the direction of special activities outside. Their kindness and hospitality made a big impression on us. This is a magical place. Hands down, our best AirBnB ever.

This place is amazing. Hosts are a pleasure, and honestly seem to have thought of everything, definitely admire their attention to detail, and the place was immaculate! Very convenient to Titlis and the train station, and outstanding views!! This place is a must.

INCREDIBLE!! The photos don’t do justice to just how truly incredible this place is. I would recommend 10/10 times and would come back in a second. Marlise, her husband Chrigel and son Mike were all incredibly kind and welcoming, helping us get a more local experience. The apartment itself has everything you need, and is located just a 10-15 minute walk from the train/boat station, restaurants and grocery stores. The hot tub/ sauna and outdoor shower, mixed with the view make this place a relaxing paradise.

Stacey was a great host that met the us at the door and gave us helpful hints on things to do. The view from the porch was AMAZING and so peaceful. We spent almost every minute there when back from the very convenient hikes just a short way away. I would absolutely recommend staying here … literally can be in a hot tub looking up at Staubach Falls like it was your very own private waterfall.

The Airbnb is nicely decorated and has everything you need. It is small but nice and perfect for a stay of two. Particularly beautiful is the large terrace in front of the house, which offers several seating options. The communication was very reliable and the hosts very helpful. It is a beautiful place that offers a lot, especially in good weather.

Esther’s place was the perfect home base for our Switzerland trip! The apartment was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location was quiet and peaceful, but still convenient for train travel and day trips. Esther and Peter were kind and responsive hosts, and made us feel at home. Would absolutely stay here again!

The view is everything! Must have a car if in this area, garage is provided and nice to have. The washer and dryer is very convenient. Home is well depicted in pictures. Television is upstairs only. A big plus is the access to the hotel spa and pool, very conveniently located just a 2 min walk. The mattress in our opinion was far too soft for our liking but that is our preference. Overall nice place and would recommend. If we are looking to stay in the same area again we would be happy to come back.
