2 bed /2 bath luxury barn conversion with hot tub

MichaelRating, 5 stars5 days ago
I can’t recommend this place highly enough. Both couples in our party were highly impressed. Steven was very welcoming and we appreciated the supplies to get us started. Everything in the house is of a high standard and very comfortable. Outside there are superb views from outside seating and the hot tub. There is a good barbecue and we enjoyed cooking and eating outside. Llangollen, Bala, Ffestiniog and Snowdonia are nearby. Luke came and introduced himself and he and Steven are the perfect hosts, very charming and helpful but not intrusive or fussy. We definitely would love to come back

Romantic Idyllic Nuthatch Cottage with Hot Tub

RebekkaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This place is so lovely! Host Meng was so kind, even putting some beautiful flowers in the cottage for my birthday ❤️ the view is spectacular, it's one of the most peaceful places I've been. Hot tub is great fun, the kitchen has got everything you need including washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets. The bed was comfy, plug sockets everywhere you'd want them and usb sockets. It was great to see how dog friendly the place is with throws for the couch, fenced garden and fixed stairs gates. I highly advise popping into Jolter Press Cider bar/shop and getting some food from the local Chinese takeaway. Also a walk to St Anthony's Well, there's some step incline/declines on the walk there but it's beautiful and you have to take a dip! We also went to the Three Choirs Vineyard that was beautiful and good fun too. I would definitely come back and I think it would be equally beautiful in any season, our summer trip was fantastic but I'd love to see it in autumn or winter too.

Had a lovely couple of days at Hlolly Barn. It’s a beautiful property in a gorgeous spot. The weather was fantastic which made everything even better. It’s really very easy to explore some superb walks and trails across the common and downs. Brockhampton Estate is well worth a visit too. Sarah is very friendly and it’s great to know she is next door without being intrusive. Loved it!

Luxury Private Country Retreat With Hot Tub

MichaelRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Had an absolutely wonderful stay at Coals View. Firstly Tom and Louise were very helpful with directions and instructions and couldn't possibly do enough. It's a gorgeous property and immediately felt right at home and very relaxed. Place was spotless. Had everything I could need and more for my stay. Lots of great little touches, clearly with guests in mind. Lovely garden area to sit and relax, and the hot tub was a lovely treat in the evening. Felt very private and was left to my stay, but I know I could contact them at any point if needed. Would gladly returned, and have already recommended to family. Thanks so much.

Pontysgob Cottage

JackRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Incredible place! We had a lovely couple of nights here. The house is full of character and has everything you need and the enclosed garden was great for our young daughter and dogs. Very peaceful location so sitting in the hot tub in the evenings was very relaxing. The added bonus of access to the river at the bottom of the garden was great! Will checked us in and gave us some suggestions of local walks and things to do which was ideal. Would highly recommend!!

Fantastic accommodation, spotlessly clean and comfortable. Everything high quality. Enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub with just birdsong and the fantastic views for company. So relaxing, and Harlech a short walk away with cafes and independent shops. Hope to be back again next year.

Country cottage with private woodland and orchard.

EmilyRating, 5 stars6 days ago
We spent a blissful week at Badgers End Cottage and from the first instance fell in love with the surrounding secret woodland and beautiful gardens. The Cottage was so cosy and calming, the birdsong was so audible. Carol was the loveliest host you can ever imagine. We were given a tour of the private woodland and her passion for her garden and the wildlife was very inspiring. Carol even made me an incredible cake for my birthday which was such a lovely surprise. We would highly recommend a stay in this picture perfect Cottage…the perfect base from which to explore The wonderful Wye Valley.

Other nice touches were the books and games, and the basket of leaflets to suggest places to visit. We would highly recommend this for any family to stay in.

Writer's Lodge Cottage Bishop's Castle Shropshire

HilaryRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a very warm welcome from Bob and Caroline and a wonderful week in the beautifully appointed lodge in the grounds of their characterful property. Great attention to detail, comfortable beds and a lovely enclosed courtyard garden which was perfect for our whippet. Everything so well thought out and presented including numerous books, DVDs and games, a home-made gift, fresh flowers ….. Bishop’s Castle has much to offer - several pubs and cafes, quirky shops, a great butcher and scenic walks from the doorstep of Writer’s Lodge. A perfect stay in every way!

Seaside Cottage

GillRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We enjoyed our stay in this delightful cottage. It was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Though the weather was rather cold and windy we were quite warm enough inside. If you don't mind a 'get away from it all' location we would thoroughly recommend it. The only thing we would have appreciated was a non-slip mat for the shower, and also perhaps some recommendations for local places to eat, and walks other than the coast path, which wonderfully was only a couple of minutes away. But these are only minor points. A really lovely place to stay!

A quirky cottage in quiet rural Shropshire

AngelaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This place was absolutely perfect! The location was peaceful and serene, making it a lovely little holiday weekend. The hosts truly went above and beyond, being incredibly attentive and helpful throughout our stay. We had a great time having breakfast alongside the charming resident chickens, and the cottage had everything we needed to feel right at home. Our kids particularly loved the beautiful artwork decorating the walls. We highly recommend this stay and may very well return in the future!

Aberdar Country Cottage and Cinema Cabin

MarianaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a fantastic week at Aberdar. The weather was amazing all week, so we spent our time outside enjoying the garden, orchard and stream, and sitting at the various seating areas to avoid the wind if it got too strong. We only made 3 trips away from Aberdar.. a stunning part of Wales and it was hard to put the camera down. A pleasure to drive on the pothole free roads and we hardly saw anyone apart from friendly farmers. Our anxious rescue dog was very happy enjoying the space and he was relaxed all week, as were we. Aberdar has it all.. very clean and homely, very well equipped with everything we needed, useful information file provided for guests, beautiful views and loved hearing the sheep, cows and stream. If you are tall, remember to duck when going through the doorways.. we kept forgetting! This was a very special trip for us and we will be returning!

Cefn Bach, charming cottage in a super location.

IanRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We spent the weekend at Richard and Mai's place with our 6 year old son and it was absolutely perfect. Communication was fantastic from the start - very friendly and pro-active with clear instructions. The cottage is stunning, clean as a whistle and with a beautiful view of the valley. There is lovely outside space to explore with walks available straight from the accommodation, and it is a perfect base for exploring further afield. Our young son loved exploring outside and seeing the animals. We were lucky to meet Mai who was absolutely lovely and very helpful indeed. We can't recommend this place enough!!

This is a beautiful property in a fantastic spot for Ludlow centre itself and also getting to all the many fabulous places to visit in the surrounding area. Rachel has created a very welcoming space and thought of everything. It’s extremely clean and comfortable. Parking is on the road outside and was never a problem. Rachel was very proactive as a host. Criccieth luxury coastal cottage with garden.

LeanneRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Absolute brilliant home to explore the North Wales coast and the Llyn Peninsula. We loved Cricceith as a base and the home was perfect for our week away: beautifully thought out, spotless and just really homely.....we did not want to leave and can't wait to book another stay! Things that stood out were: the shower was powerful and warm, the beds were comfy, the facilities were excellent and the garden area was private. We couldn't fault it!

Stunning cottage nestled under the Longmynd Hills.

PhilRating, 5 stars2 months ago
I booked Betty’s Dairy for my son and his family (wife, two children aged 6 and nearly 4) while we stayed at Alf’s Bullpen next door. We all had a wonderful time and the setting is lovely and peaceful. There is so much to do in the local area. The generous welcome basket and milk in the fridge were appreciated and the kids will remember their ride across the fields for a long time! Thank you Kirsty and Chris.

Rural holiday home, peaceful, large gardens

ErinRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
My parents were over from New Zealand for a holiday and we took some time out to spend quality time together exploring Herefordshire and Wales. What a beautiful home, we felt so lucky to have found it! Amy is a lovely host, she lives right next door and popped by to say hi on our first day, but other than that she left us to it but was always there if we needed anything. Which we didn't as she had provided us with all we needed. The house was spotless, spacious, and with a beautiful garden that we spent as much time in as possible, even though the weather was being a typical British summer! I would happily book to stay again if I'm ever back in that beautiful part of the country.
