Cheerful 1 Bedroom, Cosy, Couples Getaway..

Enjoy a relaxing break for two in my tiny home! It is the ideal place to cosy up after a day out walking on our very own ‘wild’ beach or upon returning from a visit to Oulton Broad, which is just a few miles away. We have the Carlton Marshes, Africa Alive Wildlife Park, the Transport Museum and the beautiful village of Southwold, all on our doorstep! A beach retreat with a home from home feel ....

Since letting out our chalet we have been overwhelmed by all our lovely reviews and take pride in trying to ensure you enjoy your stay. This particular region of the beautiful Suffolk coastline remains unspoilt and the chalet park is right on the cliff top overlooking the sea in a non commercial park. The chalet overlooks a small green and is within 100 yards of a sea view. We aim to provide both personal and homely touches in order to make your stay a little special .

This large studio has its own private corridor and bathroom, accessed by its own entrance in a newly converted Grade 2 listed ex theatre. With tv area, dining area, bedroom area and kitchenette area (fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle) it makes a compact base for exploring Suffolk and the Norfolk Broads. Located in the old town centre, 5 minute walk from the high street, and 15 minutes walk from the station and beach. Sorry - not suitable for children under 8 years.

We are just a 10 minute walk from Pakefield beach with various shops, supermarkets and more just across the road. There is private parking available for up to two cars and a private garden with a seating area. We are pet friendly and have 1 travel cot and 1 small pull down camp bed available on request. There is a small £10 fee for pets at the time of booking.

We have family that live 5 mins walk from this property. I hope it is available the next time we are visiting them. Lovely lounge with really good television. I slept in the double bed and it was very comfortable (I appreciate this personal preference as I like a firm mattress). Also this room had a blind and curtains making it nice and dark for a good nights sleep. Great to have tea/coffee available and shampoo/shower gel available.

I stayed at Claire’s place for two weeks as I was working in the area. It was a comfortable, stylish and welcoming home that served my purposes very well. The facilities were great and there were thoughtful touches such as extra blankets, hot water bottles and the offer of fans if needed. Claire was always really helpful and quick to respond to any communications. A very reasonably priced accommodation that was really well located - a couple of minutes away from the beach. Thank you Claire for a lovely place to stay!

Enjoyable stay at Natasha’s house. Clean, comfortable, well equipped and quiet. Good location for evening walks to the beach and for travelling around the area. Good Indian takeaway & fish & chips in the village too. Natasha is a good communicator, would stay again if visiting the area.

Beachside Retreat

This is such a lovely house, in a wonderful location. The photos do not do it justice at all. I found myself agreeing with one of the other reviewers that the longer I stayed, the less I wanted to leave. It’s so calm and peaceful. We had three generations sharing the space straight after Christmas and we all had more than enough room. Large sofas, plenty of dining space and very generous bedrooms. With those stunning sea views. Our two kids loved the room at the top of the house and made a proper famous five type hideaway up there. The beach is just over a short stretch of shingle/heath. If you walk to the right the ground becomes much firmer for those with buggies etc. We know the Suffolk coast well but had never been to Kessingland before. It’s a lovely little place with a couple of fish & chip shops and some pubs if you don’t fancy cooking. Although the kitchen is very well equipped. Really this house is an absolute find and we would all love to visit again!
