The Duisburg houseboat Lore in the heart of the city

Our small 13 meter long houseboat Lore is located in the inner harbor of Duisburg, 3 minutes from the city center in one of the trendiest areas of the city: the inner harbour. The Lore has two spacious bedrooms, a roof terrace with lounge furniture, a small covered terrace, a living room with a direct view of the water, a kitchen and of course a bathroom with shower and toilet. The Lore is winter festival and can be booked 365 days a year. We have had three boats in the harbor since 2025.

The Netherlands and Weeze Airport are just a few minutes away by car. Fleuth, Niers and Sonsbecker Switzerland invite you to hike and cycle.

The signal tower Linn was built in the 1920s and has now been extensively renovated after being decommissioned over 20 years ago. With love for the details and an eye for its historical origins, a unique and extremely atmospheric location has been created. Start your bike tour directly from the front door. Between the air spa of Xanten, the city of Geldern and the pilgrimage site of Kevelaer lies the small town of Kapellen an der Fleuth. The Dutch border is also not far away for excursions. There is a small corner store which - just like the bakery and the post office - is within walking distance. There is also an Italian restaurant and a snack bar in the village. There is a small weekly market once a week.
