Two Bedrooms near Saltwell Park

HeatherRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Hadassahs place was wonderful. Beautifully furnished and decorated with some beautiful ornaments. The beds were incredibly comfortable and theres a lovely waterfall shower. Coffee and tea making ingredients were left for us along with some lovely biscuits but you may want to bring a little cooking oil and spices if you intend to self cater. There is a supermarket on the main road. Hadassah doesn't supply a hairdryer, so you may want to bring one if needed. Also there is no TV but there is good wifi. The one and only negative is that it is a downstairs appartment so you do hear the upstairs neighbour at times which is unavoidable. There are bus services just 2 mins away going to Newcastle every 10 mins. One of the highlights for us was the most beautiful Saltwell park right across the road where we walked every morning. This park is not to be missed. Newcastle itself is a great city and the Geordie folk are some of the freindliest, funniest and most welcoming ive ever met. Enjoy!!

4 Bedroom Barn conversion in Beamish County Durham

Ralph Lodge at Hillside was the perfect location to host our nana's 90th birthday celebration. Julie and David were very responsive and helpful, and the house was exactly as the pictures show. The house is all on one floor which was perfect for us! All amenities you could need are provided (fully stocked kitchen, hairdryers, toilet roll, kitchen roll, hand soap, dishwasher tabs, dish soap etc), which some places are very stingy about! there's also a gorgeous welcome hamper which was such a beautiful touch wish we'd have booked for a few extra days!

The Old Kitchens, Summerhill Square

Fantastic weekend stay in Newcastle! Christian was so friendly & accommodating for our stay, the apartment was stunning with everything we could possibly need. The bed was very comfortable and everything felt luxurious, including the robes & fancy coffee machine. Being walking distance from st James park and city centre shops & restaurants was so handy. It was perfect for our weekend as wedding guests and exploring the city, only a quick taxi from the Airport as we flew in from Bristol as well which was really convenient. I would definitely recommend staying here over a budget hotel as it had all the little extra home comforts, if I’m ever in Newcastle again I will be returning to this lovely apartment. Thank you Christian for a fantastic stay :)

Hill Top Cottage Gateshead *Hot Tub*

EmmaRating, 5 stars18 months ago
We stayed at Hamraz's house when our home was flooded so we stayed for 4 weeks. The location is amazing- close to amenities and the views are stunning. The house was big enough for us to comfortably live in for 4 weeks. The hot tub is well worth the extra money as it's a premium hot tub. Hamraz husband very prompt at explaining things at check in. Host then very much left us to it which was ideal for us. Would stay again.

Large 2 bed property with gated private parking

DebbieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This house was amazing! It had everything we needed plus more, Gill was so friendly and accommodating. They are right next door if you need anything. I loved the Prosecco and Lurepak/sourdough bread and all the snacks. The most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept on. It was great coming from Australia and visiting family close by. We didn’t want to leave tbh

Lapwing Cottage 5 * nr Beamish, Newcastle &Durham

JenRating, 5 stars7 months ago
We booked Lapwing Cottage to have a peaceful place for me to recover after hernia surgery, and the space was perfect, and the hosts lovely. The cottage had everything we needed- including a lovely little Victoria sponge and farm fresh eggs! The location was inspiring. Pheasants, grouse, and herons flock all around the farm and it was lovely waking up to them each day. We couldn’t have asked for a better place. I only wish I had been physically up for exploring the trails around the area. We will definitely be back when I am recovered!
