We spent a few great days touring the area and this place made a great base - perfect for what we wanted, well equipped and in beautiful surroundings. We’d definitely stay again the next time we are in this part of Ireland and 100% recommend to anyone reading this listing. The welcome from the lovely dogs was a real bonus.

We were just passing through on our way to Cork. This was the perfect stop for us, everything was clean and comfortable, and Olive was lovely.

We had a lovely time at Eoin and Melody’s place. The house is beautiful and has been sympathetically restored so it still retains original character whilst having lovely modern touches. The area is beautiful with a great view from the house. It is in the countryside so a place to get away from it all but drivable to explore Kilkenny and neighbouring towns. Eoin and Melody and family were exceptional hosts, they were extremely helpful with our family’s needs and very responsive and attentive throughout our stay. I would highly recommend for those looking to get away from it all but have town amenities within 20 minutes.
