Deluxe glamping pod in private garden in rural South West Scotland. No noisy campsite interference. Children welcome but need supervision in garden as we have a pond and stream. Double bed, small Sofabed, bedding/towels, shower, toilet, hob, kettle, toaster, fridge, microwave, table, stools. TV, Wi-fi. Patio table/chairs, BBQ/firepit. Washing machine. Woodend is a beautiful cottage set in a semi rural setting, with stunning aspects from all bedrooms and sitting room. Quiet and tranquil garden and patio area, perfect for enjoying a glass of bubbly and taking in the wonderful views and relaxing. The semi detached cottage is stylish and tastefully decorated. Part of the beauty of Woodend is even though you are surrounded by fields, it’s only a stroll into Dumfries town centre (20 mins) where you will find pubs, restaurants and shopping.

Lovely place just outside Dumfires. It is located on a quite street, but easily accessible. The place is nice and spacious - better than how it looks in the photos. Ann is super friendly and responsive and has stocked the place with all essentials including basic groceries (butter, milk, break, juice).

Just home from a beautiful stay at Gary’s place. The cottage has everything you need for a family stay from toys and games to a beer tap. Our toddler loved seeing the cows each morning, they would come so close to the fence. Gary was great, very clear and friendly communication. I loved the fresh flowers, such a nice touch that I’ve never seen at other places! Would love to stay again in the future.

Nice location with a great view over fields from the living room. Very clean and well equipped place. Rodney was welcoming and a great host, and told me all about the local wildlife, including a deer family, that can be seen from the living foom window. Can heartily recommend a stay here.

Chareece was a great host. We needed to book at really short notice due to work commitments for two of our guys and she was really accommodating and helpful. She replied almost right away every time. Would definitely recommend this place and hopefully visit again in the future.

The space was very clean and comfortable. Great location to the Dock Park. Appreciated the milk, fresh fruit and welcome note. The one drawback of being run by a company left us with No flexibility on an early check-in and no personal connection. The messaging gave us responses from multiple people of the management team versus one homeowner. We did not ask for local recommendations as it did not feel personal. They were as accommodating as a managing company could be.

Emma's barn is lovely, so clean, private and peaceful. Emma was extremely helpful and communicative during our stay and was such an accommodating host. We would definitely recommend, and visit again.
