The Barn

A recently rebuilt barn in the grounds of the existing owners' house. Fully self-contained and offering comfortable accommodation with full cooking facilities (including a dishwasher) and a large lounge and dining area. It has a spacious bedroom with a very comfortable king size bed. Guests can use the garden facilities and there is complimentary tea, coffee and milk. All towels and bed linen are provided. There is a sofa bed if more than 2 people stay. We can also provide a cot for babies.

This unique annexe is a converted barn, attached to the main barn in the idyllic village of Shouldham, nestled on the edge of Shouldham Warren, a fantastic forest with woodland trails to walk, jog or cycle. Enjoy a pint in the award-winning pub the King's Arms. (Both 800m away) This is an attractive, spacious conversion with a double bedroom, living room, dining area/orangery. The Annexe sleeps 4 through a comfortable double sofa bed in the lounge. There is an enclosed garden and seating area.

We have many different types of wildlife around us, such as deer, hares, baby Leveretts in the spring & a resident barn owl and lots of birds. The Annex has just been fully renovated to a high standard. Its in a peaceful country setting but only 25 mins from the nearest beaches & 10 mins to the closest town.

The Little Hop House, a cosy one bedroom barn

The Little Hop House is a beautifully restored 250 year old building expertly converted from an Old Hop store to a one bedroom annex. It has a well equipped kitchen, living room, large bedroom and bathroom, making this unique space perfect if you are working in the area, a weekend get away or visiting the beautiful historic city of Cambridge. It provides a wonderful base from which to enjoy the North Norfolk coast (walk the beaches, take boat trips to see the seals, visit a range of wonderful pubs / restaurants) or stay in with a good book and a glass of wine in front of the woodburner.
