This place used to be one big guesthouse, but during Covid19, I have stopped running the guesthouse and I moved in with my wife and 2 kids. Still I didn't want to give up so I left the good parts. Since it is a 100-year-old townhouse, the rooms themselves are aging and have been slightly renovated, but from the outside it looks like a traditional townhouse, but the inside has not been renovated like a hotel. Katsura Club is a traditional Kyoto townhouse that has not been renovated much and remains in its original condition.
