Within walking distance are luxury super Tsuruya, Asanoya Bakery, Mikado Coffee, Karuizawa Senju Hiroshi Museum, Karuizawa Taliesin, Muse no Mori and other art spots, Karuizawa's largest Yukawa Furusato Park, famous restaurants, cafes (Kikusui, Chishotei, RK Donuts Karuizawa Seikichi, etc.), tennis courts, and Viala annex Karuizawa. There is the Yugawa river for fly fishing and the gourmet road, Shiozawa-dori. Please note that the heating facilities in this guest house are mainly kerosene stoves and kerosene fan heaters. We also have electric appliances, but if you use too much, the safety device will work (smart meter) and the electricity in the house will flash, so please do not use a lot of electric appliances at once. An earth leakage meter is also installed. CAPUSULE HOUSE-K is a private house designed by Kisho Kurokawa. It was created based on the concepts of Metabolism and Homo Mobius. This building is composed of the same capsules as the Chugin Capsule Tower Building, which is also a metabolism building, and was completed in 1973, the year after the building was completed. Until now, it has been open only to a few people and was a little-known building, but in 2019, the restoration was started by Kisho Kurokawa's son, and now it is open to the public with the interior of that time.
