Beach house holiday rentals in Kitty Hawk

Me and my 3 friends stayed for 3 nights and had a great time. Eric was responsive and very respectful and reasonable. Would recommend and would go again!

Wonderful place and very pet friendly. The location of the house on a beach access point/path was such an important benefit that I had not realized when booking the house (I did not know that there were specific beach access points and if you were not on a beach path, you had to walk to one and then head east to get to the beach) The beach cart and all of the beach accessories were terrific (shibuni, chairs, towels, cooler, beach mat, toys, bikes ect.) no need to pack/bring anything for the beach with you! Thanks for a great stay!

We had a great three night stay, my three adult children and I. The beach was surprisingly almost ours to ourselves. For an older traditional OBX house, it was well updated and very well appointed. The central floor plan is very open. I love it when you can be in the kitchen cooking while talking to everybody in the living area and those around the dinner table at the same time. Awesome view of the ocean off the back deck. We sat in the hot tub and still see the ocean. Im sometimes leary of hot tubs at the beach, a lot of times they are not well maintained. Danielle's was spotless and the water chemistry was perfect and safe. There was absolutely nothing we needed or any place where we needed to go that was not within a 5-minute drive. All of my family are fisherman. if you like to fish, there's not a better place to stay. getting from the house to the beach to surf fish takes less than a minute. we walked up to the OBX Pier several times to fish, probably less than a 5 minute walk.

We loved our stay in Southern Shores. This house was nice and clean when we got there—with fresh flowers even! It was an easy walk to the beach, even with kids and was also a plus to have an awesome ice cream shop so close! The pool and spa were perfect—we really enjoyed the privacy fence—felt like our own little oasis. I love the central location. It made it easy to visit so many places in OBX, like Nags Head, Kitty Hawk, Duck and even Corolla. Everything was well stocked and we so appreciated the beach cart! Would definitely stay with Mary and Andy again.

Laurie was an excellent host! She was very helpful and the place was “as advertised”. For some reason the interior of the place brought back memories of a house on a Greek island (where I grew up). Certainly a place I will look for again when I am at OBX. ps There is a great collection of books and games to keep kids (and adults) occupied!

Travis’s Place was wonderful! I can’t wait to come back the view from the bedroom kitchen/livingroom is absolutely beautiful! We saw dolphins jumping from the porch within 20 mins of being there! It was super clean! Plenty of space for may Family of 7!

Excellent place to stat at OBX! Everything was as described. Excellent location close to plenty of things to do. Excellent hosts all around!

This place is a GEM! I highly recommend staying there. So close to the beach. Lots of fun stuff to do in Duck. The house is very, very nice with lots of space to hang out.

We loved that we were able to walk to the beach and to the bay. Also loved the beach parking pass to give us the option to drive to the beach. We used the beach chairs, boogie boards and bicycles and all of them were fantastic! Very comfortable house, felt right at home there. Perfect house for a family to use. Also very helpful that Target, Publix and tons of restaurants were very close.

Maureen and her co host were very friendly and responsive. The house was super clean and looks even better then the photos. She supplied so much! Beach chairs, umbrellas, anything you could possibly need in the kitchen, even shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. The golf course was beautiful and it was fun to watch golfers and enjoy the wildlife. Only a 2 min drive to beach access!

A group of 12 stayed at the Suncatcher over the weekend. It’s one of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve had in a long time (location, pristine home, amenities, access to shops and food and nearby activities). Better than advertised! If you have a large group; look no further, this is your paradise location waiting for your arrival. Connor is an excellent and responsive host and very responsive to messages. Thanks Connor and team for an unforgettable OBX experience. Highly recommend this paradise home.

Overall, this was a great vacation spot. Hosts were great! House was great! We had a small inconvenience with three people coming the first day to service different parts of the house, but once addressed the host’s accommodated our requests well. Location is nice!

Second year staying here!! Absolutely perfect for our family! Loved the updated inclosed stairway going down into the backyard/pool area, made taking our dogs out much more convenient. Love this house and its surroundings! From the walk to the beach or short drive to restaurants and activities this place has become one of our favorites! The hosts are great and very responsive, the house is fresh and inviting, the backyard/pool area is private and peaceful and the location is great! Will definitely be visiting again in the future!

Our stay at changing tides in the Outer Banks was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning ocean views and the short 30 second walk to the pristine beach. The house itself is a perfect blend of coastal charm and modern comfort, with a fabulous kitchen, hot tub, and very well appointed living spaces. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the thoughtful touches made our vacation effortless and relaxing. The location in Duck was ideal—close to local restaurants, shops, and attractions like iconic duck donuts haha, nearby cute places to eat , yet tucked away in a peaceful neighborhood. The host was incredibly responsive. We will definitely return.

Perfect place for families with small kids. The short walk to the beach and securely fenced in pool area made our stay so easy. Great location and fantastic floor plan to accommodate our four toddlers (and the four grandparents that tagged along)!

We stayed here for a family vacation and had a great time. This wasn’t our first visit to the outer banks but this was the best location we’ve stayed in. Very convenient location for quick beach access and close to many businesses as well! The pool was where we spent most of our days. Danielle also provides fun supplies for the pool and the beach. This house didn’t disappoint

We all felt very at home, the house is gorgeous and the beach is right there. We each had our own room and bathroom. Carrie was always quick to respond to our questions. We definitely want to go back there if possible next year and use her house again. None of us wanted to leave. We even saw dolphins from her deck, it was amazing. Thank you Carrie for everything!!!

Absolutely perfect place to vacation, everything from eating out at local restaurants, to walking down local streets, and of course walking down the beach. The house was great, cozy and clean and in a great area. Overall was a fantastic place and definitely worth coming back to.

Was a perfect place to stay for a wholesome Memorial Day girls weekend! We will definitely be coming back here and thank you Jay for helping us figure out the grill :)!

My family stayed 8 nights. Regardless of the time of day or night, the views were breathtaking and so special. The sky and the cloud formations were spectacular. The house layout was thoughtfully done. The tote with extra toilet paper, papertowel, Kleenex, laundry detergent, and garbage bags were a godsend. They provided everything you needed extra beach chairs, 2 large beach umbrellas, boogie boards, a beach cooler etc. The selection of books were a true reader's paradise. The house is located very conveniently to stores, restaurants and the beach! You can run into the house and come back in just a few steps! This house has to be the best house we have stayed in OBX for over 10 years.

Gunther's place was a wonderful choice for our family. There were six of us that we needed to fit in the house and at no point did it feel too small or uncomfortable. The location is very central and you can go just about anywhere you want in a matter of minutes. The beach is a matter of a couple minutes away walking and it did not at all feel like a crowded place. The house was exactly as shown in the pictures and they did include all the amenities that were listed. We'll definitely consider this place again the next time we go to OBX.

This was a great little place on the beach for my family. We loved the convenience of being able to go right out back to the beach whenever we wanted to and not having to pack a vehicle for the trip. The house is cozy and had all the amenities we needed( we don’t cook much). The host was very responsive and we appreciated being able to check in early. Can’t wait to come back next year!

This cottage is true to its name! It is literally a 2 minute walk to the beach and you couldn’t ask for anything better than that, but wait till you visit a beach walk cottage. This cottage was beyond amazing, exceeding my expectations, it’s probably the best Airbnb i have ever stayed at which made our trip so enjoyable, we didn’t want to leave. The decor, the cleanliness, amenities, game room, laundry room, porch area and picnic table, EVERYYTHING etc felt like a beautiful dream. The beds were very comfortable, (and Im a light sleeper) and the bathrooms were so elegant! It Felt like i was in a Pinterest board. I also liked how close it was to local good eats and attractions. The neighborhood was also safe and quiet. I would highly recommended this house and I can’t wait to bring back my nephew! He loved the bunk beds and the game room! The hosts were very responsive whenever i had questions.

We loved our stay near Duck in South Shores, NC! The home’s interior was modern with minimalist decor and featured amazing spa amenities like a hot tub, sauna, and rain shower. It was secluded in a quiet neighborhood yet just a short walk to the beach. The host checked in regularly, which made us feel well cared for. Perfect for a relaxing couples’ getaway—we’d definitely stay again!
