The entire 2nd floor is private. The spacious LDK, centered around the Graftec island kitchen, is of course the most characteristic space of the villa, but the sky terrace, with its outdoor sofa, sauna (available from 18: 00 to 22: 00), jacuzzi, and a projector up to 100 inches, allows you to enjoy movies and more. In addition, there is a full-scale BBQ grill from Broil King, made in Canada, so you can enjoy a barbecue at any time, and you can also enjoy the feeling of glamping. (The BBQ grill is better suited for thick steaks than for so-called yakiniku meat.) In addition, the Osaka/Kansai Expo will be held from April 13, 2025, and the venue can be reached in as little as 90 minutes from the nearest station (Kizu Station, about 15 minutes on foot).

Nishimura Residence is an old-fashioned Nara-machiya that has been standing on a piece of Nara-machi for more than 100 years. I was a “grandmother” for a long time when I was a child. In Nara Town, there is a pleasant despicable feeling that never changes. "I want to be filled with this pleasant contempt even for future generations." With that in mind, I took care of the empty Nishimura Residence. - Nishimura-Tei is originally a traditional Japanese house which has been here in Nara-machi town over 100 years, where my grandmother used to live in. My mother and I decided to renovate this house to preserve and pass down the virtue of good old days in Japan to the next generation as well as to show it to you.

A newly renovated machiya town house with typical layout and a small garden, retaining the tradition of Naramachi - the old merchant town of Nara. Easy access via bus and train, supermarket, restaurants, convenience store, bakery, and a Japanese bath house just minutes away. This house belonged to a famous wood carver of "ittobori" - a traditional Nara technique of carving the wood. A projector and a record player will make your stay even more pleasant. Enjoy!
