TAKIO 3 guesthouse

HaoxuanRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Very classic Japanese homestay, beautifully decorated.Although it is a bit far from the city center, it is in a residential area. When you walk from the B&B to the station, you can see other Japanese-style houses, which is very atmospheric. The price is actually about the same as the hotel in the city center, the main thing is the experience. The host Makoto is very nice, pick up and drop off for check-in and check-out, and will introduce the facilities around the homestay when you check in.We tried the Osakayaki he recommended, and it was quite delicious. There are also different activities every month, and if you catch up, you can join guests from different countries.

Traditional tatami Japanese style

The host was very welcoming and wrote a welcome sign at the door. Although it was very far and tiring to walk from JR Station, it was a little comforting to see such a warm welcome. After ringing the doorbell, the landlord ran all the way to greet us. She was a very polite and friendly woman: she helped us with our luggage, showed us around the house, and gave us a lot of good advice and tips.On the day of departure, the host was also very enthusiastic about taking us to the JR Station by private car.Despite some language barriers (we are mainland Chinese and sometimes do not understand English), we still talked a lot: anime, bands...The environment is very beautiful, there are some flowers and plants in the small yard, the air is fresh, and there is a shrine next to it that can calm our hearts.Overall, the experience of this trip was very good and worth trying. The last sentence is to tell us Chinese people: it is very worth trying, believe us, Chinese people do not lie to Chinese people!

Limited to one old house per day where you can stay with your dog Luxury holiday in a traditional Japanese house Hirobi Dog Run

麻田陽子Rating, 5 stars1 month ago
I was able to spend my time everywhere with the sincerity of the owner, Tadahiko, and his wife. I had a valuable opportunity to stay in a mansion that has been protected and inherited from generations, so I thought it would be important to use it as well. It is an old house, so there are many retro parts.I recommend it for those who want to enjoy the good old things of Japan! I wanted to cook, so I took the rice and cooked it with a rice cooker. They prepared salad oil and soy sauce, which was very helpful. They also provided a range, toaster, kettle, etc. There is a super lucky next door, and the ingredients are easy to source. It was about a 5-minute walk from Kono-shi Station, and had good access to Hirakata, Kyobashi, Umeda, Uji, and Kyoto City. Thanks to the old private house well house, we were able to reunite with a lot of loved ones. I missed the cherry blossom season, but the rattan shelf in Uji Byodoin was very beautiful in late April. We'd love to stay at your place next time as well. At that time, I think it would be nice to have a washing machine. Thank you so much for the memorable opportunity.

An authentic Japanese house (Home-stay)Room#WABI

Chieri was welcoming and the perfect host. Together with her mother Kauri-san and beautiful WabiSuke, they made us feel at home and gave us a little experience of living within a Japanese Community which is what we were seeking. From inviting us to a local Sushi restaurant to allowing us to share her Tea Ceremony class, Chieri has made our short stay truly memorable.

I had such a wonderful time at this beautiful , clean, architecturally sophisticated modern home. I experienced a generous young couple , smart and intelligent businesslady Maya and her wonderful partner Hide made me feel like being at a home away from home. The quiet location is well connected , 5 minutes from the station and perfect to explore Nara and Kyoto being only 40 minutes away .The house has all the amenities you could dream of , a very nice touch is the free organic tea , mineral water and a luxury bonus is the filtered shower keeping you clean and fresh , super valueable in a hot japanese summer .Being worldtravelers themselves representing the best of a young japanese generation who is openminded it was great fun and fascinating to talk and on many occasions i was impressed with their knowledge and insights of traditional and modern Japan .Thankyou so much for your wonderful hospitality you are the ( secret ) Airbnb superstars one can only dream of . Love you guys !

JR Uji Station 5, Keihan Uji 3 3

Rating, 5 stars1 day ago
It is a very convenient location for tourists who come to Uji for a few days and for fans of Keisuke who want to visit the sacred sites! The location is right next to Uji Bridge, and across the river is Uji Shrine and Mt. Daikiji, and everything is close! In addition, although it is a homestay and a public toilet, it is fully equipped and clean, and convenient to use!In addition, the homestay owner was also very enthusiastic when I checked in, but I don't speak Japanese and my English is not good, but I understood by relying on body movements.Overall, a pretty good experience!
