A place called Aitalammit, located in Posio, right on the border of Kuusamo. A more precise location can be obtained when booking as there is no address for this cottage. Drinking water is delivered to the cottage and washing water is obtained from a clear pond. There's a gas stove and a gas refrigerator. There is no electricity in the cabin, but a battery and inventory can be found for charging the phone

Apart from downhill skiing and cross country skiing (the FIS Nordic Combined season kicks off in Ruka) there are numerous hiking trails, including the famous Karhunkierros (Bear's Round), crosscountry ski &snowmobile routes, biking routes, fishing, bird watching, bear watching and also ample time to enjoy a sauna and peaceful silence.

The floor plan is such that the smaller bedroom and the separate toilet are separated from the rest of the apartment by a door, so privacy is available. A nice atmosphere is created by an open fireplace, sauna, a terrace, and a forest landscape as a bonus.

Talvikaudella tarjoamme muutamia lumikenkiä, suksia ja sauvoja hiihtoa varten sekä kalastusvälineet pilkkimiseen. Kohteessa on mäki ja portaita.

Well-equipped Villa Joutsensalmi creates a great setting for an active holiday in all seasons in the unique nature of Kuusamo. In summer and autumn, hiking and mountain bike trails can be accessed from the nearby terrain. In winter and spring, the well-maintained ski trails and snowmobile trails around Ruka can be accessed from the cottage yard.

Tervetuloa Villa Jaakkolaan! Villa Jaakkola on vuonna 2022 valmistunut hirsihuvila Jokijärvellä, Taivalkoskella. Huvila on tilava ja avara. Alakerrassa on yksi makuuhuone ja tupakeittiö. Parvella on lisäksi reilusti tilaa ja nukkumapaikkoja. Mökille rakennettiin kesällä 2026 uusi rantasauna. Mökistä löytyy kaikki nykyajan mukavuudet ja isoista ikkunoista avautuu kahteen suuntaan mahtava järvimaisema. Takkatulen lämmössä on mukava katsella revontulia ja kuunnella hiljaisuutta. Tervetuloa!
